Finally the customer service is not so bad and on the niveau of a first class company. The broken pedal is reimbursed. I got a slightly better one on amazon under 30USD. Installed it works fine, Eskute advised amazon to refund it on my card.good. The problem with the PAS system is solved, the bike is running well now in throttle or pedaling modus. I can't write it down here what i changed out of safety and liability reasons. But if you set it up right it runs now perfect in its most possible way. The issue it the frontlight is now also solved. It does not any longer bend after every pothole and need a readjustment. Easy solution: Turn the light holder upside down and it has enough space under the basket. My final thoughts about the bike: It is reliable, sturdy, heavy and fulfills my needs. The range is somewhere from 10miles to 40plus miles. It depends if you use the throttle only and max speed or try to support the motor. The brakes are in my opinion too soft for me, I like it when the frontwheel is blocking. But for other brakepads are options on the aftermarket. Is it worth the price? YES. Has it some negative points? Yes, the backbasket. Is it solvable? Yes, but this bike without the the basket and look online and you will find the exact right one. How is the customer service? After a rough start helpful and friendly. after 5 days i get an answer. this is 2 star worth, i change it back from 1. They need pictures and want to see the broken pedal. i got this text: Regarding the broken right pedal: Please send clear photos or a short video of the damaged pedal for our verification. Explanation of pedal assist gears: This bike is equipped with a speed sensor pedal assist system. The motor activates once you rotate the pedal half a circle. The higher the assist level (1–5), the higher the motor output power. Level 1 limits speed around 7mph, Level 2 around 15mph. If Levels 3–5 fail to work normally and you only experience ghost pedaling without effective power support even at 60 rpm cadence, please record a video showing this abnormal assist performance so we can troubleshoot the sensor or controller for you. old comment: No resonse at all. Neither about the overpriced aftermarket cargo basket, what was show as a perfect fit. It is so big you are not able to fold it well, nor the problem with the PAS-setup. your cant use the pedal-support ,because the motor is faster as you can pedal and out of control, nor the broken pedal, an important safety issue. A product that got a conformity declaration from tuev rheinland and a GS-seal for gepruefte sicherheit it is an absolute shame. old comment: i gave 1 star. I tried to contact eskute over their "customer service website" (what a joke!). They promise you in less then 24hrs to give you an answer. Of course you get an immediate email, that your message is so important that it can have a delay of maybe a day more. BUT after 4 days (4x 24Hrs!) came still no response. ask me what i think what is more important for them money or satified customer. old comment: i gave 2 stars after cycling only less than 50 miles the right pedal broke. It is unbelievable. The bike is not well setup and you can use only the throttle to drive. when i stood at an intersetion and wanted to step back on the saddle the right side broke. I lost the balance and got some scratches from the concrete. absolute unsafe. old comment: i gave 3 stars. You dont get what you order. I dont talk about the motorcontroller, that works maybe with 27" tires. 20" tires are too small that the motor can support your pedaling. With a cadence of 60 to 70 you can reach in the 7th gear a speed about 12mph. there is no higher gear,but the motor can go up to 21mph.All you feel is ghost pedaling and no control over the pedals any longer.It is one point to think about, let us not talk about it. But the back basket is the real main issue. This bike is destined to get folded and taken with in the smallest amount of size. Why is the jumbo basket delivered, that makes it ad adsurdum. In the offer is such a perfect standard size basket. With this three times bigger piece , it makes it hard to fold the front to the back. Usually it is folded 180 degree, but with the installed front basket and the super sized back basket you can't get it so narrow folded. It counts when you transport it in a small car in the trunk or backseat and this 10in wider makes it impossible to close the door or to get it through. I ordered this bike with front and back basket to get a bike with the perfect fit. The difference for the additional back basket were $80. Not a small investment for this sturdy china produced thing, but a fair price it is, would it fit perfect. All in all it is a heavy bike, more heavier as the Fichtel and Sachs 23ccm petrol driven Saxonette bikes out of the 1990 (they were only 27kg with a full tank and 2HP). I has a 48V 13AH battery that brough me on throttle only 11miles before it reached the level of undervoltage. That was at 40V(52V fully charged). In total it is a nieche product, with its own purpose... mostly to get folded and stored in a car and then later used somewhere else. But for that the size of the basket still matters.

This is a great bike….. 4 1/2 stars!!! However, During the assembly there were problems with the holes and the positioning of the screws!!! The holes had to be re-drilled new holes into the e-bike position to correct the location. Once we were able to assemble the entire E-Bike I took it for a ride and I had a great time. I am still pedaling in mode zero! Brakes work great! The e-bike is very heavy and it took me time in gaining balance!!! I haven’t used the electric side as of yet! I am having so much fun pedaling, feeling the breeze! The seat is a bit uncomfortable and I haven’t used to readjust a lot (I am a female). However, I do love my e-bike!!! If you are looking for an e-bike, overall I gave it a 4 star!!! I couldn’t give it a 4 1/2 because it is not available!!! I purchased the metal baskets for the front and back. I bought my cell phone holder for the handle bars. I purchased fobs and a holder that looks like a bell incase someone tries to steal it. It will show on my phone where the location of my bike!!!! I also have an audible mounted alarm that is on the wheel. If it ever so lightly moves a high pitched siren goes off!!! Remember to purchase a new helmet to match up to your new bike!! Mine is purple, pink, and white

The rear basket doesn't fit the bike frame, it's huge and it's totally different from what's pictured. Also, I did not receive the small front basket. Can someone please respond with a resolution.
