Update: I've had the bike for 6 months The bike arrived in good condition and was well packed. It actually arrived quicker than promised. Assembly took about 45 minutes, and I had no prob-lems with any part of putting it together. The assembly instructions were fairly easy to follow. The bike is much beefier than I realized. The 4" tires are 30" in diameter. It is a big bicycle! I've only put 25 miles on it so far, but I like what I've seen so far. My only complaints so far are the total lack of instructions for the display and how to change certain parameters of operation. For example, how to change from kilometers per hour to miles per hour. I was able to find help on YouTube and Google, but it should be included with the bike. The bike comes programmed with a high speed limit set at 25 mph, and I definitely needed to raise that. The other complaint is the tires. They are noisy at speed on pavement. But that's a reasonable trade off for tread that works well off road and on trails. On steep hills the bike isn't fast, but it is powerful! I weigh 260 pounds and the bike handles it well, and is comfortable to ride. It's too early to say for sure anything about battery life, except that I rode 15 miles and display still showed full charge. I'll update more later. Overall the bike has proven to be much more than I expected. So far, I'm very pleased with my purchase. Update:. After having the bike for over 6 months and putting many miles on it, I must say I am still pleased withy purchase. The bike is very robust, and has performed flawlessly.

I did not need to modify anything on the bike it works great. I am 5'11" 275lbs and this bike pulls my weight just fine on various terrain. I can now bike as far as I can (20 miles or so) and have the bike take me back home if I get tired. You have the option for peddle assist that also works. The quality of material is acceptable as it does not feel or look cheap. You have to use a key to turn on the battery system on so kind of feels like a motorcycle but not as bulky. It comes with two built-in buttons one for the front light and another for the horn. The digital display turns on by pressing the "M" button. It comes with a decent headlight but no rear red light so I put one on. I installed a phone holder for my iPhone and at night it looks cool with all the lit gauges and lights shining off the dash of the bike..lol. It also had a grandpa rear basket that came with it but not for me so I did not install it. You will need the grandpa basket if you are going to carry any items as all the cables and electronic on it do not make for a hands free bike ride. I carry a backpack if I need to transport anything. It comes with a ac/dc charging cable. You need to remove the battery pack so requires a different key. You will be dealing with 2 keys min and I bought a lock so that is 3 keys that I need to deal with. It's amazing that now I can travel further and explore my area more but also found that I go to shopping centers or McDonald's...lol and have to deal with securing the bike. This is why I had to buy a locking system. Lastly, I have lost over 15lbs without trying and it's due to me getting out and enjoying riding again. Love this bike!

I’m mainly using this for a daily short commute to work. So it’s on paved roads, and mostly flat terrain. So far the battery life has been outstanding. I’ve had the bike 2 weeks now and haven’t needed to charge it, even though it’s been used daily, either to and from work or pleasure riding. So far it hasn’t indicated anything but full charge. Using the throttle only the bike will do average about 20 mph. The pedal assist mode is adjustable so the bike does a little or a lot, depending on where it’s set. The digital display is easy to see, even in daylight, and shows charge status, pedal assist setting, current speed (in either mph or kmh) total miles ridden, and how much power is currently being utilized. It comes with a rear cargo rack and front light, and the display has an integrated horn which is surprisingly loud. Mine came with a broken spoke in the front wheel. The seller was quick to respond, but since they are located in China, sending things back for repair is problematic. They suggested getting it repaired locally and the. They credit the repair amount to your Amazon account. They also credited an additional amount for the inconvenience. If this had been a more serious issue, this could be a problem. I would suggest purchasing the additional warranty which would cover any costs to repair a more complicated issue locally. Returning the whole bike is obviously an option, but difficult to do once it’s assembled and, other than a minor issue, your enjoying it. All in all the bike is an affordable good quality bike with decent power and good out of the box equipment. For Joe Average bike user it will probably be the last bike you’ll ever need. With enough size and juice to go off-road, enough comfort and durability for frequent use, and enough quality to last a while.

Looking for something unique and reasonable? This is the e-bike for you! Took me awhile one night to assemble. It was pretty straight forward, couple user errors on my part. I like the extra gears compared to the other models. The fat tires add a lot of cushion and control over rough, unstable surfaces. It did take a bit for me to realize the ring on the left side of the handle is the throttle NOT the whole handle like a motorcycle or scooter. Got lots of comments on the cool red rims and the stark, black look. I can't ride it enough! I'm already at 100 miles. I did add the iPhone holder and a rearview mirror that hangs below the left handle. My kids also like the nice ride.

this bike had a lot of the things I was looking for. a bafang motor, a large headlight (which is very bright) a rear rack (which is welded on) good shocks, hydraulic brakes, fat tires for off road. the height for riders which is 5.2ft.-6.5ft. which is hard to find one for a shorter person. heavy sturdy frame. the colors are pretty cool too. it can easily reach a speed of 34mph on a straight away. takes hills easily with pedal assist. I ordered a green one first and liked it so I ordered a yellow one for myself. price is fair and has excellent customer service. this bike fit all my criteria. Info: to turn on your lights press and hold the up button to turn on walk mode which will spin the back tire about 11mph press and hold the down button. for reference to get into the settings press and hold the up and down button which will bring you to the numerous settings which I did not touch since I do not know what they control so I did not change anything.

Since Amazon will no longer allow truth on their website I can and only will Say In My experience DO NOT BUY THIS BIKE. Save a little longer and get something better. Extremely under powered. Could not even complete a 2.8 mile (work and back) ride without motor just stopped. Sat around for hours then worked again Then couple day rest ride home it cut out again even sooner this time. UPDATE Less than 10 Miles Controller Burned out. Melted Wires and Everything. They did send a replacement controller. Hey wait a minute this wire and that wire and that wire don't have the same connector as my controller. Response from Blue " Please send us a picture of the Controller" Say What You don't even know what product you sell?! Hey Ford My car won't start Well you better send us a picture of the motor you have so we can fix this. Do you see how stupid that sounds now. Don't even know what parts are on the products they sell.

Have owned this " beast" for eight months now and love it! It is made of excellent components and was easy to assemble.. for me. That said, the owner's manual needs a lot of improvement. It is actually an electric motorcycle. As such I do want to put out a word of caution because it is a powerful bike. I have 30 years of experience with a Harley, so it's not a big deal to me, but I can see where people without experience could fairly easily get involved in an accident quite quickly. The bike has five levels of assistance. I used level five once on a level road and reached 35 mph. A slight twist of the right grip and you are going. Are you ready?!! It is very easy to turn off the key, thus the electric assistance. Anytime you are in a tight spot.... be in the habit of turning that off... so you don't turn that grip by mistake! I'm not sure that the speedometer is reading correctly for a 20inch tire or if it is set for a 26 inch tire as my 3 mile trip registers at 5 miles. I don't know if this is correctable nor do I know if this is how they come up with a 32 mph max. I have had this bike now for one week and will post a follow up review at a later time once I have more experience with the bike. My initial impression is that this is a good solid well made bike. I like the hydraulic brakes they seem a touch soft from the brake lever but work very well once they engage.the 750watt motor has generous pick-up and moves right along. The bike horn is an electronic horn and is integrated in the light, I like this feature much better than the bell that came on my last ebike. In my opinion the seat could use an upgrade while not uncomfortable it certainly isn't top of the line. Also for some reason my seat post keep sinking even though I keep tightening the release mechanism. Otherwise the ride itself is very comfortable and all of the controls are within easy reach. After 2 strokes I enjoy the stepthru feature and find that the battery location, wile mildly difficult to reinstall the battery allows for a slightly longer spacing between the pedals and the seat post making this bike more comfortable than many similar bikes with the battery located behind the seat, perhaps the next version might offer the battery as a top mount versus an under mounted battery. The tool kit that comes with the bike is a nice thought but my recommendation would be to purchase a set of 6inch ball Allen drivers that are meant for your ebike this will not only ease your frustration with the included kit but will also speed up the assembly of your bike. It took me around 30 to 45 minutes from start to finish unboxing to test ride. I would recommend a pair of cutting pliers for cutting all of the straps. You will also want to add some air to the tires as they are under inflated. When installing the front wheel you find 2 brackets with a hex bolt and nut on the shift these are for mounting the fender, unscrew the bolt attach fender Armand repeat. This is not shown in the videotape wrenches that are included are adequate for the assembly. The key that comes with the bike is only for releasing the battery and is not required to operate the bike. Other than removing the battery there is no way to prevent someone from powering up this bike. On a last note the rear light only functions as a taillight ! There is no brake light function on this bike. Despite a few minor defincies which arent technicaly defencies this is overall a very well designed bike and well worth the price. Other. Better seat brake light power off position for battery key perhaps a USB port would make this a better bike on a last note this bike uses an unusual battery pack I have requested information on purchasing a 2nd battery for longer trips but have not yet received a reply from the seller making additional batteries available for purchase would be a great idea.
