I really struggled to get these installed. The instructions that come with the unit will not help you, but their installation YouTube video did the trick. The pictures from the listing also don't exactly match the product, but it's a universal so that's to be expected. They don't fit as I would have expected, but they work. Their customer support answered my questions promptly. Overall they will work, but I'm just not super in love with the universal fit system.

Assembly of the rails to the bases takes about 20 minutes once you receive them. They are nicely packed, and were in perfect condition. I was pleased with what I received on my porch. They are cleverly designed and the materials are of comparable quality to the vehicle itself. Everything is strong and appears to be weather resistant in the long term. All the tools needed to assemble and install with it were supplied, along with two keys. The locks on each of the mounts lack a little smoothness in function, but are fine, as you don’t use them that often. The finished assembly feels rock solid , and does not budge. I would feel confident loading them to their weight limit and driving anywhere. For the money, I was pleasantly surprised at what I got. I shopped quite a bit on Amazon and elsewhere, and I feel fortunate to have found these. I went with the black, FYI.

Pros: great value, best bang for the buck for average use of this roof crossbars. Delivery was first and fast (immediate) literally! It arrived to my house faster than predicted. The packaging is great too! You get the product’s box in another box with reinforcement. The product is well packaged inside its own box. Product is new as expected. There are two aspects that I am quite impressed with this product are: 1) the instruction manual is very well written, with detailed instruction that can help just about anyone to install the product without prior knowledge, and 2) as an actual Aerospace engineer, I am very happy to see the cross bar are: a) Metallic, and b) with the upside down Aerofoil shape in order to help with the air flow to: reduce drag, and to help with providing downforce! Cons: For most usage by everyone, this technically should not be a problem at all, but just looking at the brackets, they are made out of plastic, contrarily to other products.

The media could not be loaded. **EDITED TO ADD VIDEO OF UNBOXING, INSTALL, ETC.** I bought these for the main purpose of a roughly 2000 mile round trip vacation from Columbus, Ohio to Ogunquit, Maine. This was a family vacation with 2 adults, kids ages 18, 13, and 10, and a dog... So the rocket box on top was FULLY Loaded. Installation is pretty straight forward, and the video on the amazon listing is pretty accurate and detailed. One note to make is to make sure you have the bars facing the correct way, rounded part to the front and rubber strip up. Otherwise they won't go in. I am guessing this is done on purpose to keep you from installing incorrectly. This rack exceeded my expectations and performed as good as my name brand round bar rack I use on my other car.

EDITED: I got a new pair from the company and they were easy to install and this time worked perfectly. It is needed to follow all the instructions and in the case of attaching Kayaks, you need to secure them in the front and rear of the car. Thanks again for such amazing customer service EDITED: The company reaches to me and they were really concern about how to improve the quality and they were really sorry about the accident. They will send me new crossbars and I will update my review and rating when they arrive and try again. Great Customer service. These bars are poorly made, I bought them because it said that were compatible with the 2017 Kia Sedona, however, I attached a kayak and they got loose on the highway, thanks god I didn’t cause an accident, so if you are thinking in buy this cheap bars, pass.

I was really hoping these would work out for my Kia Sedona. I was nervous as the box was delivered with a repaired corner and a note from Amazon that the parts were all accounted for and in the box. Instructions are sparse. Diagrams try to help. Issue #1 was that the plastic corners did not fit the metal cross bars. Using the strength of Hercules (and a few neighbors), I got the bars all put together. But then I quickly learned that the bars were too long for my Kia (and the suggested bar placement on the roof rails). Talk about a bummer. Three hours of work was wasted. I had to return the kit (and I am still waiting on my refund). These looked sleek, but the quality is just not there. I think I will go back to my initial thought... OEM parts.
