During the installation of these cross bars, a piece on each of them broke off. The inner part of the clamp that secures to the inner part of the roof rails of the car just made a loud popping noise and broke off on each of the cross bars (opposing sides) after I followed the directions in tightening each side only 50% and then 100%. Yet, somehow the cross bars are still secured to the roof rails, and appear to be holding. I don't know if this will last, but I only have the option to return these items vice getting an exchange (assuming it was just a one time issue). They did withstand a 16-hour round trip through rainy and snowy weather with a roof cargo box attached, so even though pieces broke off, it still seems to work (for now). It also seems to fit my 2021 Kia Sorento quite well. If those pieces had not broken off, I would've likely given 5 stars. But like I said, it's holding on tight for now... ... show more

Not a lot of play in the size, so they can't be mounted anywhere on the roof line. Once I got them tight, the plastic holding the nut broke and the unit came loose, I wasn't able to use these crossbars at all.

Initially the rack was just fine, until I took my car to the carwash. The cross bar completely came off along with my ski rack. The cross bar does not seem to latch very well to the car, and like a dummy I decided to give it another try by replacing the part that broke off. I took it to the car wash for a second time and once again it unlatched and came off. I don't recommend this to anyone, saver yourself the headache and buy an OEM part. ... show more

Like other reviewers mentioned the plastic clamp piece part of it snapped off during installation. It also did not fit as I was hoping it would (over the rear tire - but the back rail instead had to be moved closer to the middle of the roof) The product owners reached out and tried to help troubleshoot and offered to replace the product.
