Firstly, the chair arrived well in advance of the schedule, kudos to Amazon for the great shipping! I took a chance on this chair and should have passed. The base does not have any tilt adjustment, which I knew that going in, but I did not expect that the backrest would be in a relaxed-reclined position; even in its most-upright of its adjustable positions. I sit in an upright posture when working at my computer desk and my lower shoulder blades are at least 3" away from touching the chair backrest, while the lumbar support just lightly rests against my lower back. As for the headrest, that does not even touch my head unless I deliberately sit back (no longer seated upright, but with the chair still in its most-upright position) and, even so, I have to tilt my head back and slightly-arch my back to contact with it. It is a very unnatural posture. Note that I am 6-feet tall and 195 lbs. and I do not have any spinal curvature problems, nor do I hunch forward at my desk. This chair is simply not suited for my upright seated posture. I suspect that people accustomed to sitting at their desks in a somewhat reclined position will find this acceptable, but I do not. It you are similar to me, then I would recommend selecting another chair with more backrest adjustability. The chair I am attempting to replace (12+ year old Izzy Designs Performa 2) has base and backrest tilt adjustments, which is what I will now search for (although most of those come at a premium price). I recall paying aver $500 for the Izzy chair back then, so maybe I will end up looking into higher price chairs to find the adjustments I need. To be clear, I am not criticizing this chair for lacking the adjustments, only denoting that it does not suit my frame and posture as it is designed. Also, this chair has a slight defect in the mesh of the backrest. While unpacking the box, I discovered that one thread-weave in the upper-left corner was cut (I had not used any knife anywhere near that area either), and the plastic wrap did not have any holes in that location. So it points to this cut occurring at the factory. Rather than send it back just for that, I wanted to assemble it for a fit check anyway; and I am glad that I did. ... show more

Update: The material of this chair is not cloth so uncomfortable unless in long pants. I just ordered another chair with more cushion, fabric covered and the ability to tilt the back in place. The arms also lift up like this one. I have a remote job, that I love, and needed to set up an office. I bought this chair for the price and for the arms going up so I could push it all the way into the desk. It’s comfortable and works well for a full day of work. Mesh is not attached to the chair. It is held in place by nothing and the edges constantly come out of the seem. You have to reset the chair mesh every 15 minutes if you lean against the backrest. The constant defect of the back coming apart makes sitting in the chair for extended periods of time painful and makes my lower back hurt. I cannot find a way to contact customer support, as I threw away the paperwork the chair came with and do not see any way to contact them on here. Im hoping they will reach out when they see this review. UPDATE: the return policy and customer service was amazing. If you have any issues with the chair they will take care of you ... show more

It's a nice chair and I like it. It's relatively comfortable and good enough for me not to want to buy another one (yet). I've had it for a month and it's still holding my weight surprisingly well but, it's yet to reach the same 13 month period as the cheap chair I had before. My cons are about the same as the others: the back rest is more annoying than anything, the cushion isn't great for several hours of sitting (required for work and gaming sessions), and the back curves too far forward so I constantly find myself sliding forward or leaning awkwardly cause I can't sit back all the way. ... show more

I don't have much experience with chairs. The one I had before this was a leather gaming chair and all I can say is that if you are switching from leather to mesh you will absolutely love it! I have always complained about how sweaty I get from sitting on a leather chair until my friend recommended that I try chairs with a mesh back. This one is amazing and I never get sweaty. Only had it for about a month been great so far. Assembly is as easy as it can be given you have decent space. My only complaint so far is I wish the back support was more adjustable and the one feature I miss from my old chair is being able to lean all the way back, but I guess you only get so much for what you paid for. Also if you are wondering about how it rolls. I am using this chair on a wooden surface and it is pretty smooth. Not sure how it handles on a rug tho. This is definitely a great chair for the price. ... show more
