I finally upgraded to this ergonomic chair, and honestly, my back is so much happier. The 3D lumbar support is the real deal it actually hits your lower back in the right spot instead of just being a flat mesh wall. It feels solid, looks great in my room, and the assembly wasn't a headache at all. Fair warning though: it is dangerously comfortable. I’ve definitely caught myself sitting for three hours straight without even realizing it because the mesh stays cool and the support is just that good.     • Not as great as I had hoped

Most of the construction is plastic, which I guess is common these days. I expect other chairs sold on AMZN are the same. Only the base and piston are metal. One receiver was not threaded correctly so it stripped the bolt. Chinese instructions passable. Chair is quite adjustable, but... the detents are very loose and don't stay in place where I want, and they are plastic so I expect over time, they will become even looser. For example, the main problem: I like the lumbar support pad, but would like it to stay in the high position. However, it tends to always fall to the bottom position. It's annoying having to lift it all the time. Eventually, I just give up and leave it at the bottom, frustrated. The detents don't hold it and there is no way to tighten it into your preferred position. Bottom cushion is firm and comfortable. Quality otherwise: decent. Size is good for my average build. Height fits me properly. Back support would be excellent *IF* I could keep the lumbar pad in place. Color is pleasing. No damage observed. Verdict: I want to like it more than I do. ... show more

Seat has no cushion. I’m 5’1 good for height but the back support piece that holds it in place does not stay so as soon as you move it slides back down. And unless you’re leaning back, there’s no support for your actual back and no way to make the chair lean forward a little bit. So you’re constantly in some sort of reclined position. Easy to assemble. The arm rest go up down forward and back. The knob in the back does push the lumbar support in and out, but it just won’t stay in place check video I added. ... show more

The first thing I noticed and loved about the chair is the seat cushion. I like to sit with my back straight and there is enough support from the chair that lets me do that. I don't like to slouch. When I lean back, the head rest is perfect positioned to let me relax my neck while holding my head in place so I view my monitor. The lumbar supports prevents me from sinking into my chair. The chair was easy to assemble but you just want to make sure you are using the right components. Some of the screws look very similar. Take your time and it will come out great. ... show more

Seat is soft but supportive. The lumbar cushion really helps my lower back. I can sit for hours without feeling tired. The mesh back keeps it breathable and the headrest is a nice bonus. Great quality for the price!
