My son is staying in an older used RV for college. I noticed the yellow tub was not very sanitary so I ordered this in hopes I could install myself. It went in so easily, gave more room, and made the bath feel more clean. It took less than 45 minutes and I've never worked on an RV before. This includes taking out the old one! Pinterest may say to resurface but take it from me replacing is faster and better! Get this tub you will love it! My son is convinced it is larger than the old one but it's just the improved mold that gives more movable space. Note: it is plastic, some may want porcelain but for us keeping RV weight to a minimum is important! ... show more

Perfect Fit. Just what I needed

    • flimsy and cannot be filled with water in order to use as a tub or it will fall apart.
This tub can be picked up by a finger. That is how light weight it is. You cannot really sit in it and use it as tub because it is flimsy and the wall will deform. I ended up paying almost $50 to ship it back because the seller wouldn't pay for the return shipping.

This seems like a nice tub. We did reinforce the floor with some 2x4's to the level underneath the tub, just because the tub we had previously was very saggy. It looks nice and seems to be less of a slippery bottom than our old one. My husband watched a Youtube video on how to replace a RV tub/shower and it was done in a day. ... show more

I love the textured tub floor. It's not rough or harsh. Our old tub was smooth and dull, but there's a bit of a sheen to this one. I love the color also. The old yellow tub was so ugly. The white just looks bigger, even though it isn't. Update: I first reviewed this tub over a year ago. It has held up well. My kids did scratch the top edge with scissors (the type you buy them for school), but I won't replace it over that. I've had no problems with it at all. To address some other reviewers' concerns, the tub is extremely lightweight and does appear flimsy, but my husband and his co-worker (who manage an RV park and perform all its maintenance) assured me it was perfectly normal and would be fine. They were right. They gutted the bathroom to re-model. The only thing that stayed was the toilet. Even the floor was torn out (it had water damage from hurricane Harvey) and replaced. They installed the bathtub after and it has not warped or broken and feels 100% sturdy. I'm not dismissing the experience of others. I'm just saying that the light, wobbly bathtub is not actually unusual to the experts and can and does work as expected. It's an RV bathtub and everything made for RVs is purposely lightweight--one of the reasons water damage can so easily ruin it. ... show more
