With the exception of the chair arriving with a 1/2 inch hole in the mesh back rest, the chair is wonderful!. You'd think that quality control would have caught it. Too much of a hassle to repackage all of the parts back up into the box for a return, so I just kept a "brand new chair" with the unexpected hole in the mesh. C'est la vie as they say. ... show more

I've purchased many office chairs in the past and just moved into a new place and needed one desperately since I work from home. When the chair arrived I admit I was overwhelmed by all the parts and pieces, however, the instructions were so easy to read and it literally took me all by myself, about 15 minutes to install all the parts and assemble. I just assembled the “modern” version. I like it a lot. Here are my notes. 1. The 2" assembly video is great. 2. There are four types of screws; some silver, others black. The video showed the color of the screws opposite to what was supplied three of the four times. That threw me off a little bit. Plus an extra screw of each type was supplied (as backup?). I was grateful for the extra care they put into it. 3. The free assembly tool was the best supplied tool I ever received. The only substitution I made was the wheels. My old chair left some scratches on my polished wood floor. The supplied wheels are hard plastic perfectly serviceable wheels. However, when I ordered the chair, I also ordered wheels that would be kinder to my floor. I am pleased I did. I ordered Systopia 2" replacement heavy duty rollerblade style universal replacement wheels (11 x 22mm) set of 5. It was worth my peace of mind. I popped them on instead of using the original supplied wheels. ... show more
