The assembly was straightforward and simple. The parts only assemble one direction so if the part isn't fitting, you're using the wrong parts. The cushions are firm but not hard. Out 5 hardness where 1 is a feather pillow and 5 is a concrete slab, I'd say the cushions are about a 3. Apart from the lumbar adjustment, everything is within reach unless you have 1-1/2 foot long arms. It has somewhat ample back support, and I noticed it as soon as I placed it in the right spot. It is well worth the price. Unless you hold onto the arms and sway side to side, the chair is adequately sturdy. It's not playground equipment. If you want more luxury, I'd suggest paying for more luxury, but this chair works as described. If I had need for another, I'd possible buy another. ... show more

Took me less than 30 minutes to build. I am 200lbs and seems pretty sturdy and good size. Has two levers so its easy to use. One lever is for height and the other lever is to lean back and nap. Once you lean back, you can lock it in place and take a power nap.

A very comfy chair with lots of adjustability. The seat lifts up high, the back reclines about 15 degrees, and both the headrest and lumbar support can move up, down, and in or out to fit your comfort. Great for working, relaxing, or even taking a quick nap. Super happy with it!
