    • A decent chair at this price point, but with some drawbacks

I've had this chair for a little while and can say that it is an improvement from my last chair, but I'm not sure if I'm in love with it enough to keep it around for the next 5 or so years. For reference, I'm 5'5". Some things that I like and don't care for: - I like the seat cushion it has been very comfortable for long hours of work and then general gameplay. It's a wider seat than I originally expected - it's nice because I like to sit with my legs folded on the chair - lots of room to do so. - I like the adjustability of the armrests, but as another reviewer had pointed out, they move around too easily so I have to constantly adjust them back into place. It would be a nice improvement if you could lock them in place. - I like the firm lower back support. My only drawback is that the height of the back support isn't adjustable, meaning you can't move it higher or lower. I'm 5'5'' and the chair is built for a wide range of heights, but for me, it sits a little off where I really need it to be. On a taller person, it might work out better. - I hate the headrest and don't even have it on the chair. Maybe this goes back to the whole height thing, and a taller person might like it better, but for me, no. It can only rotate slightly, which is rather unimpressive. It would have been much more ideal if I could adjust the height, and move it back and forth. - Adjusting the angle of the back of the chair isn't the best. The chair only has 3 set positions. At least with the chair that I have (it could be a fluke with mine), but I have a really hard time getting it to click into the middle position. It will slide right through it and into the 90-degree upright. Rather frustrating. If you like having a very specific angle to the back of your chair, then this could be a deal-breaker. It erks me mildly. - The wheels are good quality as I would expect at this price point. I think the chair overall feels well built. Yes, you do have to assemble it yourself. No, it's not hard. I don't know why some reviewers were complaining about having to put it together. Every chair I have ever bought online comes in pieces (how else are they supposed to ship it?). If you want an assembled chair maybe drive to a store. - Where my desk is located means that my chair is half on hardwood and half on a rug. While the wheels are good quality, there is something to the design of the base that makes this chair difficult to maneuver over a bit of carpet. It will get stuck and I will have to lift up to get the chair to move backward or forward. My last chair did not have this issue. I could buy a plastic mat for this problem, but I'm stubborn. Overall it's not a bad chair, but again am I going to keep it for a few years? Maybe. For ergonomics, I will say that I don't have any of the soreness my previous chair would cause. I also like the more sedate look of this chair compared to others in this price range. Many look like they were designed for gamers with really weird over-the-top styling or coloring. I had been searching for a while for a chair that suit my needs. This exceeds them and I, honestly, was not expecting it to. It has amazing support, especially for the way that I sit. It is extremely ergonomic and really gives off that modern look I was in search of; It does not look extremely cheap nor tacky. A thing with office chairs that I hate is when the screw holes never align, but I did not have one issue with assembling at all. The cushion material is so much more comforting than having pleather sticking to you all the time. The height range is superb and there are so many things you can adjust all around. Assembly took about 20 minutes, good quality components, especially the steel base and nylon wheels. Glides smoothly and quietly. Padding of the seat could be slightly thicker but is comfortable a couple hours at a time. Armrests very adjustable. I'm 6'1" and I added a cushion so between that and the taller height of the nylon rollerblade style wheels it makes it so I need to have the seat at its lowest setting for my feet to sit flat on the ground. This chair is fully equipped, it took half an hour to install, and an additional one for each accessory was prepared. The size is right and the seat cushion is very comfortable. The waist and neck can be supported, and the backrest is mesh, which is very breathable. The height of the chair and armrest can be adjusted, but the armrest is still a little low in my opinion. This chair has excellent quality, and it is easy to assemble. My husband only take 20 minutes to assemble it. It is supportable and good for my back, it does not need extra pillow to support the lower back. Strongly recommend this product, Amazon prime did a great job on delivery. To start, I was in the market for not only a chair that I can use to work from home but also one to replace my broken racer-style gaming chair. I absolutely prefer this as it is much more comfortable and has features you have to pay WAY more for on a racer-style chair such as 3-D armwrests and roller skate wheels. I won’t ever be going back to a racer-style chair as I can now sit comfortably in this one for my entire work shift without issue. Pros: -Really easy to assemble with clear instructions. -Forms to my back perfectly with enough tilting to the pieces to shift with me as I sit. Perfect for working from home for hours straight. -Armwrests have perfect mobility to be able to adjust to the height of my keyboard tray or the height of my desk as needed and move forwards and backwards as well. -Incredibly lightweight and easy to pick up fully assembled if needed -The reclining is amazing and has numerous settings to it that are easy to shift regardless of how far back or forward you are. Cons: -I purchased the 9070 model. The only difference is with the wheels and legs. The 9070 wheels didn’t move properly on my hardwood floor. This chair is very comfortable. I'm able to sit in this chair for hours and experience no back pain. I am satisfied with the materials that are made up of it.
