This is the best laptop desk pad I have owned. The foam padding is much better than the other laptop pads I had that are Styrofoam filled. The small storage compartment on the side is perfectly placed and out of the way, and is perfect for pens/pencils but also USB drives. I have the iPhone 16 and it fits the phone compartment on the side but, it is a tight fit. In general I love the weight, very light and maneuverable, and perfect for my laptop or using as a writing pad. I love the versatility. I just received this and have only used it once for an hour. That amount of time I found it to be light, durable, sturdy, and comfortable on my lap. Another customer stated that a phone with a case won’t fit in the stand. That is partially correct, it depends on how bulky your case is. I would assume that the height the lap desk sits on your lap will be impacted by the size of the users legs. I am a slender person and I feel the height is just right. The length and width accommodate a 17” MacBook and my bulky ergonomic mouse. No need for a mouse pad, glide smoothly and quietly. The tablet/phone stand is sturdy and I am confident it will hold my device with no problem. It is very helpful for propping up my Remarkable. I like how the stand doesn’t interfere with using the function of my device.
