I rarely leave reviews but this was worth it! i have to compare: a $70 two yr old standard arm free low back chair…that I added a seat cushion to…and have a kneeling ergonomic chair for primary use at about 40hrs/week, and I am 5’1” for reference. this chair is absolutely amazing!!! neck cushion perfect at lowest level, lumbar and seat cushion both brilliant-durable,supportive and stiff in a good way, arm rest capability to be pushed up completely out of the way is a big reason I chose this chair, wheels are smooth and wouldn’t want to go back to others. My feet do not touch the ground-a me problem, but also, i prop my feet on a foot stool-like cushion anyway(only mentioned this for the purpose of anyone wanting to know height comparison use). the compression raising and lowering of the chair is wonderful too-no issues. this chair is heavy, sturdy and not a flimsy part on the entire thing. assembly was quick, and the directions could not have been easier, great packaging…i was dreading putting it together but as soon as I started, I was beyond pleasantly surprised at how clear, direct and easy it was! (and the tool with the handle-BIG kudos for including that) just mad at myself for not ordering sooner!

We needed a new office chair and this did not disappoint. Here is how I would rate the chair from assembly to fit and finish: Assembly: Very easy! The chair came well packaged and everything was in good order. The directions were clear and easy to read. There was never any confusion during assembly. The tool and installation hardware was clearly packaged. The tool itself was great (not some tiny allen wrench that could barely get the job done). All of the holes for the screws lined up perfectly, no guesswork there. They included extra screws in case there was an issue. The directions explained all of the chairs features fully as well. In total, it probably took less than 10 minutes from unpacking to completion. Fit and finish: Absolutely loved it! Sometimes you buy a chair and it has a weird odor from the factory, but this chair did not. the height adjustment has a locking mechanism so that you know you can't accidentally bump it and the chair will sink down. Overall height is great and perfect for my application in the office. The arm rests tilt in and out for comfort. The reclining feature isn't jarring, you don't feel like you'll fall over. The headrest was extremely comfortable as well. The wheels are super solid, very smooth motion when wheeling around the office (which I don't really need to do, but who doesn't want to take it for a spin!). My only issue will be trying to stay productive in the chair while I am in it because it is so comfortable. Overall, I really like the chair and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone.

This chair met most of the criteria I was looking for: arms that folded out of the way, a high back with headrest, sturdy, not too bulky, highly adjustable, preferably blue, etc. The inline skate style wheels turned out to be a very welcome bonus. Rolling this chair around is just a bit nicer than the classic plastic double-wheels of most chairs. I can pretty much ditto all of the positive remarks others have written here, as well as several of the “just be aware of” comments. All around it is a good chair. But there’s one thing that I want to highlight. The reason I give this chair 5 stars instead of 4: I received a chair that didn’t quite work. The hydraulic/pneumatic cylinder worked once when I put it together, but would not lift or go down after that. I tried several things, including taking the chair base apart and putting it back together. I decided to reach out to the Vipchair customer service (not Amazon) and ask for a replacement cylinder. Amazon only gave the option of returning the chair. But, I had rather try to replace only the faulty part than take apart and re-box the chair. However, I was even hesitant to do this, because 1) I really dislike making requests to any customer service and 2) I am very wary to go outside of Amazon for a product I purchased through them. Anyway, the representative for Vipchair replied to my email within 24 hours and determined that it would be best to replace my chair rather than just the part. Within the week, they had sent a new chair! I was impressed by how hassle-free they made the process and how friendly the representative was. So: Good chair with good features and great customer service. Hope this help someone.

I really like this chair. To be, transparent it took me about a month to get it around to putting it together. The reason is because it required assembly. That's why I gave it 4 stars for easy to assemble. It was relatively easy to assemble, and the bolts provided were large enough to hold easily with my fingers which are slightly numb and the tool the hex tool they provided worked well they also provided extra bolts which was nice. Because I'm known to have difficulty assembling things, I read the instructions and followed them very carefully. They were simple only one part threw me off but I figured it out it was able to assemble a chair with very minimal difficulty. We should have given it five stars for that but, I just wanted to put it together without bolting anything together. It provides great support and is very comfortable. I will definitely buy it again if I need one.

I needed a new office chair and saw this one at a decent price. It came fast and took about 45 mins to put together after unwrapping everything. Assembly: All the parts were well wrapped and labeled so the instructions were simple to follow. The instructions were all pictures, no text needed. Chair: The chair itself is great for me! It’s very adjustable in height, arm rest, and back posture. The fabric is firm on all parts from headrest, backrest, and seat. The only cushioned part is the armrest. The wheels that came with it are fantastic and makes the chair very smooth to roll across the floor. So far, I am very happy with this chair. Will wait to see how durable it is!
