Overall: - Adjustments include: armrests, tension, reclining angle, lumbar support, height, and different angles/heights for the headrest. - Assembled alone in under an hour, back-up hardware included as a thoughtful touch. - Two right-armrests does not make a chair, but great customer service helps make that right. Rating: 4.75/5 for some small stipulations of quality. Appearance: It’s simple and attractive without too many bells and whistles, perhaps the protruding bar of the headrest feels a bit odd though that may just be my preference. Assembly: This is something that most people would be able to put together themselves within an hour or so; the necessary hardware is all laid out into a small package (a photo of which some others have included) clearly labeled with letters and designations that line up with the instructional booklet. Said instructional booklet also has photos of the corresponding parts you’ll need for each step, and kindly caps-locked warnings about sections where things might get a little wonky. It’s clear and easy to read, even with small grammatical errors here and there. (And this is coming from someone not very technically inclined.) Customer Service: I can speak to firsthand experience with the customer service team. I received two right armrests in my original package, I reached out to the included email about getting me a left-armrest and they got back to me within around 24-hours. If I remember this was near the Easter weekend as well, and yet the response was still timely. They got my shipping information, reconfirmed that I did have two right armrests through photo, and then sent out a tracking number for my missing part. Aside from that, there’s still a five year warranty in play that comes with the chair, and I’m willing to believe they’ll honor it based on my interaction with them thusfar. Comfort and Ergonomics: Like I mentioned in my brief bullet-points, there’s a number of different adjustments that can be made to the chair itself. They’re thoughtful and considerate. Perhaps not as expansive as everyone would need, though more than enough for my purposes. The cushion on both the armrests and the chair bottom itself is plush and comfortable. I think the material of the cushions, being leather, is a bit less breathable than the mesh back-rest, but the plushness makes up for that and it’s nothing that a blanket can’t fix. I didn’t think I’d like the headrest, being of a shorter height (a few inches over five feet) I expected that it’d be too high for me to even use. Surprisingly, it does adjust low enough that I can comfortably use it in a wide range of positions, and the transfer from angles happens naturally. I used the chair for hours on end, and I couldn’t complain about it at the end of the day, as opposed to others, so it passes my checks for comfort. Value: At the full price point, there are a few small quips that I think leave it as a four out of five for me. In one of my photos, you can see a protruding metal part, that is meant to be where one of the screws for the headrest should go, and it should be built flush into the plastic, not at a place where it might jab into my back or neck with a bit too much leaning, and a thin mesh film separate. I used a slightly longer screw (one of the spares for a different part) and it held the headrest tight, or else it would have wobbled with the intended screw. Where the headrest sits for me, I don’t anticipate it being an issue since there’s two layers of protection, though it’s not the best vouch of quality control. I tested the wheels on both wood floor and the carpet of my office. Maybe it’s because they’re new, but it moves a bit like that odd-cart in a grocery store that has a tendency to drift. Aside from that, the lumbar support feels a bit flimsy, given that it is only a piece of plastic, but it has made me more conscious of my own posture. In general, all the adjustments that you can make all have this feeling of being a bit, loosey-goosey. The armchairs flip up, and they stay, though there’s something about the motion that doesn’t quite have a full clickiness that gives me the sense they’re secure and will stay that way for long. Likewise changing your reclining angle and tilt feels a bit odd even though the lock itself seems secure. The metal and leather portions of the chair feel well-made though, and I appreciate that. Again, I think that the few quirks of my experience mean I might have considered this chair, an overall, 4.75 rather than outright 5, though there’s a lot of things that the chair and the company behind it are doing well, so I’m rounding up. I think that it’s numerous adjustments and features would make it suitable for many people and I will continue to happily use it throughout its lifespan! ... show more

Occasionally Santa Claus visits various locations around the world in the off season to review his paperwork, and needs a comfortable place to sit. This chair will definitely put you on his nice list. As one of his helpers, I too like nice seating when I am doing paperwork or relaxing. I am 6’5” tall and a full figure guy. This chair is very comfortable, adjustable and upgradable. I could stop my review now, but I want to share my experiences with this supplier/manufacturer. Last year I purchased a different model chair, from this supplier. During my registration process I had the opportunity, via email, to ask questions. To my surprise, they actually replied to me the next day. All my questions were answered and advised them to contact them if I had any other concerns. About a year later, my chair started to tilt to one side. So, remembering my email conversation I had with them the previous year, I figured I was out of warranty and the worst thing they could tell me was they couldn’t help me, I decided to contact them again. I was shocked when they replied to me the next and gave me great news. They diagnosed the problem with the chair & sent me a replacement part, at no charge. The package would take about a week to receive it. I received a UPS tracking number and waited a couple of weeks. The UPS website stated they had received the package, but was waiting to be shipped. I gave it a few more days. UPS still had not shipped it. I contacted a live agent who told me I needed to file a claim if I wanted to have them investigate. I felt this would be a waste of time & resources. I contacted the chair customer support team & explained the situation. They said they would contact the manufacturer & ask for another replacement part to be sent. During our email conversation, they apologized for the delay several times & asked me if I would be interested in a chair upgrade with a $50 special promotion discount. I was intrigued by their offer & agreed to order the 2023 upgraded chair. I informed them I would repair the original chair and donate it someone who could use it. They also informed me once I ordered another chair & provide the order #, they would also provide me with another big discount in exchange for a product review with pictures. I felt this was reasonable since have taken great care of me during the entire process. A few days later, I ordered the upgraded 2023 model & notified their customer service support team. They were delighted I kept my word and gave them the Amazon Order #. Customer service is a huge deal to me. I am a retired Senior Customer Service Manager. I have dealt with all kinds of customers personalities, in my 50+ years of serving the community… both in person at their homes & businesses as well as on the phone. This time I was the customer. This company made me feel valued & like a member of their family. Many of Amazon reviews show pictures of the products & tell you how great they are. I wanted my review to be a little different. I hope this review tells you how great their customer support is (and their products). I think it is important for you to know how you are actually treated after the sale is completed. ... show more

This is a surprisingly good chair for the price, it's comfortable and seems well made. The assembly instructions were clear and I had mine built quickly. There was one hitch, though: a set of washers was missing from my assembly kit: there different pieces are contained in plastic bubbles in a cardboard-backed container, and the compartment that should have contained the 8 washers was empty. Which was especially notable because most of the other parts came with extras: extra bolts, extra screws… and it's clearly better to have a few too many than to have too few. An email address was provided for contacting them with any issues… which I did. They replied quickly, sending me not only my missing washers, but a full set of assembly hardware. It took a few days to arrive all the way from China, and that's why I docked one star from my "Easy to assemble" rating: if I had all the parts at the beginning, assembly would have been a breeze… as it was, I had to wait a few days for parts to arrive.
