I got this for one of two reasons (whichever works out best). The cushion on my desk chair needed to be more comfortable, and I have a new car that isn't as comfy as my last one. For my chair at work, it's all mesh. There's not a cushion to speak of, though it's pretty comfy on its own. The problem is that I am in that chair for about 9 hours a day. I needed a bit more for the backside. For my car, I went from a luxury car with lumbar support and back massagers (it was super lux) to a very economical hybrid car (who needs lux when you only drive 8 miles a day?!) that's great, but has no real lumbar support to it. This seat cushion turned out to be okay for both scenarios. The only reason I took one star off is because of the back. While the back is quite comfy, it's not a great height for me. If it were a little lower, it'd fit at the top of my curve/ideal lumbar position. If it were a little higher and maybe thinner at the top, it would meld into my mid-back better. However, as it is, it hits a spot that is just this side of uncomfy. Not bad, for sure, but something I absolutely feel after using the cushion for a while. Outside of that, it is very comfortable. The Memory Foam makes it pop right back into place when you shift around or get up, and it's just thick enough to cushion the bottom well for extended periods of time without being so thick that it ends up just feeling like a rock. It has 2 zippers on it. One is on the bottom, and one is in the O area. This is awesome because 1. it doesn't get in the way at all, and 2. it allows me to remove the cover and wash it periodically. It has good construction and does work well. I don't know if it works as well as the pricetag would indicate, but it's good enough that I have no desire to return it.

I like the fact that it is one piece, it is supportive for that reason, but it's not wide enough for my middle-aged butt, and also it's harder than some non-L-shaped cushions, so I didn't use it for very long, I went back to a softer, wider, seat cushion. It might be good as a portable seat though.

This cushion is a lifesaver for anyone who has to spend a ton of time sitting down, whether you're a truck driver or just glued to your office chair all day. It’s got that perfect balance—soft enough to be genuinely comfy but firm enough to actually provide real support and make a difference for my tailbone and back. I’m a huge fan of the thought that went into the little details, especially the non-slip bottom which is a total game-changer for keeping it secure. Honestly, this thing makes long-sitting a lot more comfortable and I’m definitely surprised at how much I love it already! Pros: Soft yet supportive: firm enough to relieve sciatica and tailbone pain—super thick, not just some flimsy pillow. Secure fit: The rubber-like nodules on the underside are awesome and keep the cushion right where it belongs—no sliding around. Easy to clean: The fact that the cover is removable for washing is a major plus; that's just super practical. Looks great: The grey color is good and will work with almost any chair or vehicle interior. Cons No negatives to report—it hits all the marks for comfort and support.

I bought this cushion because the foam in my office chair has gone flat, and I didn’t want to spend hundreds on a new chair that my cats would just tear up. The photos make this look like a thick, substantial cushion, but in reality the seat portion is closer to two inches thick, not the four inches it appears. There are no measurements in the listing, which is a problem. Comfort and support: As a cushion overall, it doesn’t provide much support where I need it most. After sitting for a while, my butt hurts almost as if I wasn’t using anything. For a product that’s supposed to target the buttocks and tailbone, that’s a letdown. Back support: I don’t usually have back pain, so that wasn’t my concern to begin with. For me, the cushion gave a little extra support to my lower back and helped reduce soreness after sitting for long stretches. But since back pain isn’t normally an issue for me, I can’t say whether this would make much difference for someone who struggles with it regularly. Size and thickness: At about two inches, it’s thinner than I expected. I think that’s why it fails as a seat cushion, because it just doesn’t have enough depth to absorb weight for hours of sitting. Quality: Build feels decent. The cover is sturdy and removable, the foam hasn’t flattened after a day of use, and the non-slip bottom keeps it in place. It’s light at just over two pounds and easy to carry with the handle, which could make it more useful for travel. At $39.99, I don’t think it’s a good value for office chair use. It gives a little help to the back, but for long sitting sessions it doesn’t do its main job of cushioning the seat.

This is a really well made firm cushion that helps provide additional support in our old truck that has terribly uncomfortable seats on long rides. It's one of those things that can also just provide a different position after you've been sitting for a long time driving. I throw it in the back seat and then after a while you sit on it and it feels great. Then you remove it for a while all along the trip. In my specific case I wish it were not as tall as it is. The height is just a little bit too much and I think a thinner seat (not the back portion) would make it better. The seat is soft enough so that's not the problem it's really the change of position and the lumbar support that are great. A good value for the money. Much better than the seat only cushions but still good to with it out every now and then.
