This chair was fairly easy to put together. It's not heavy, so if I need to pick it up, I can. The chair is rather sturdy, considering how easy it was to assemble. There is a little wobble on the seat since the seat basically just sits on the hydraulic lift mechanism, and of course pivots when you raise or lower the sitting position. The only real major complaint that I have is that it is amazingly easy to accidentally lock the wheels when I roll back and forth across my office - I'm not racing around or anything, just sometimes I need a thing, and that thing is behind me, so I roll back to grab the thing and realize one of more of the wheels are locked because when I moved my feet, I nudge the locking mechanism. Contrary to what cartoon physics would have us believe, I have not given myself a push backwards or forwards and ended up with my face on the ground. Instead, the castors just click as they refuse to roll across the floor. So 5 stars for how great this chair is, minus a star for the wheel locks being in the prime position to be nudged every time I even think about moving my feet. Grand total, 4 stars. ... show more

I purchased the chair because I work from home and I have a bad lower back. The chair works in theory, but it isn't great on your knees. Every time I get up from using the chair I would feel immense pressure on my knees, and I kind of figured my knees are not worth compromising, so I will just stick to my standing desk. ... show more

Some screw threads are not defined so you have to muscle those in to assemble. Cushions have a musty smell. The metal parts have weird bumps, not sure if this is related to the welding or it's rust painted over. The arm that regulates the height does not stay centered, as you can see in the picture. I've been using it for a few days and does what it promised, but keep in mind you'll get what you pay for. ... show more

I ordered the chair for a birthday gift. The chair arrived with all other parts except the wheels. I just want some wheels delivered in lieu of the ones that did not get included with my original purchase. This chair is the best ive tested but I still made some changes to make it more sturdy. I used 3/8” washers to shim tight all the pin joints as seen in my photo. It did help make it less rickety. The cushions feel great and I think should last a long time.

This is incredibly cheaply made. It really shocked me. Let's start with cheap screws that barely feed into the holes. The seat and foot pads are cheap vinyl coverings that are barely stapled on, and I suspect they will tear easily. The parts don't go together in a flush manner. Once we finally got the screws to thread, the assembled product feels unsteady. Because the connecting parts don't seat together flush or close enough together, it feels woobly, rickety and unsteady. If you barely lean to one side, it sways. I'm afraid it's going to make me fall over, or it's going to snap and crush down on the backs of my calves. I've gambled on products before, but this is one of the cheapest and poorly made I've ever receiveded. The poor quality is especially concerning since someone could get badly hurt if it snaps or overturns. One of the main parts had a large scratch too. We will now have to take it apart, try to get it back in the box, and drive it 20 minutes for a "free return". What a disappointment and a hassle. Amazon needs a zero star option for this product. ... show more
