Description

The Ergodyne ProFlex 100 Economy Spandex Back Support is designed to remind workers of proper lifting techniques while also enhancing the body's intra-abdominal pressure, moving the stress away from the spine for back pain relief. Features rubber track webbing to help keep support in position. SIZING To choose your size, use flexible measuring tape and find the circumference around your body at your belly button. The support should fit snugly around your hips with the front of the support two-fingers width below your navel. An easy-to-use hook & loop closure keeps the belt securely fastened while in use and can be worn over or underneath clothing. Adjust the suspenders straps to fit securely on your shoulders without causing tension. Turn it into a back support belt by simply detaching the shoulder straps from the belt. HOW IT WORKS Ergodyne ProFlex Back Supports provide lower back support and abdominal support for lifting heavy objects. Tightening the back support belt enhances the body’s intra-abdominal pressure and moves the stress away from the spine. When the back support is on correctly, the worker will have additional support for lifting and is more likely to use proper posture. When not lifting, be sure to loosen the belt. Great for airport luggage handlers, warehouse/distribution employees, material handling, construction crews, maintenance, assembly/fabrication, landscaping/grounds and jobs that require heavy lifting. We cannot guarantee that wearing a back brace will prevent workplace injury or be a cure for lower back pain, but when used properly these supports will provide extra lumbar support, promote proper lifting techniques and help you through a work day of bending, twisting, and schlepping. Rest assured, we got your back From the Manufacturer After 25 years and at least 30 positive epidemiological studies, we could fill a front- end loader with research that proves back support effectiveness. Bottom line is, smart companies big and small have learned the value of lock and load back support. Because when it comes to providing crucial truncal support and limiting the range of motion associated with most back injuries, these back supporting bad boys are king of the hill. Now, workers can fearlessly pick up the package, the slack and the pace. • Great Quality at a Reasonable Price!
Size: 3X-Large (Pack of 1)
Worked like a charm while I was helping my daughters move, The only issue I had was the size chart was off for me and I purchased one that ended up being too big. My size ended up being in my pant size range..

  • Great support
Size: 3X-Large (Pack of 1)
My father is in his late 60s and destroyed his body working for the past almost 50 years. Has an inoperable back condition and overweight so he struggles with being able to walk. This back brace REALLY helps him out. I reccomend measuring your waist to find your size and go 1 size down from its reccomended sizing. It's great quality with a great price. ... show more

  • Don’t Hesitate Order Now
Size: 3X-Large (Pack of 1)
Was well pleased with this purchase. Used it a couple hours today and as far as I’m concerned it has already paid for itself. Sizes seem a little bigger than stated but after reading reviews I down sized and it was fine. Seems well constructed and isn’t too hot or bulk. Fantastic buy and perfect rating for this seller!!! ... show more

  • Sizing is off & the design limits adjustments
Size: 3X-Large (Pack of 1)
It's okay. Slightly disappointed with the purchase. Ordered according to measured correct size but it doesn't get as tight as I'd like as I've used these types of products in the past on different jobs. The quality is good but the hook & loop ("velcro" type material) patch is Too small & doesn't allow for very much adjustment. If I lose much more weight it'll be pretty much useless for me (which I Am losing due to exercising regularly, intermittent fasting & changed diet so it won't last for long - kind of disappointed about that...). I use it to work out too when doing certain lifts. The quality is good, but the sizing is off & the design limits adjustments. I probably should have returned it but I don't like doing too many returns. I'll sell or donate it as it'll still be in very good condition once I'm done with it. ... show more

  • Best cheapest backbrace @3X and 4X
Size: 3X-Large (Pack of 1)
Ok, for nearly 30 years I have been wearing back braces since the early 90s in my 20s when back braces first came out on the scene for companies trying to reduce back injuries and lower costs for related injuries for insurance companies (Or so I remember being told at the time) Somewhere in the mid or late 90s, some study supposedly found out, thru collected data that, "back bracers" didn't really do anything to affect back injuries. So I remember, during that time, my company stopped issuing me free back bracers. I was upset since, at the time, Since somehow I enjoyed wearing the back brace. So I ended up paying for my own back brace for every physical job I worked at. all the way up to 2020 to this day where I still wear one. (still working blue collar physical jobs @ 50) In the 2000s I started powerlifting for nearly 15 years. During that time I learned the concept of "power belts" I finally learned that back bracers and power belts are not really to protect from back injuries. They do support back and spine by whats called "intra-abdominal pressure". This pressure is caused by the stomach muscles "pressing" onto the belt or brace and once it reaches a limit it cannot expand outward, the muscles on the opposite side of the front of the abdominal muscle tends to expand inward, pressing the guts thus causing pressure to keep the spine somewhat straight. Supposedly. With power belts its more pronounced since the abdominal muscles press much harder against a solid belt of leather. Back braces not so, since they flexate a bit. And of course, adding with a back brace, proper technique in lifting. Always with legs not back bends. No, the power belt and back brace, protect people by not getting a "hernia". By not wearing a back brace or power-belt, you risk the chance of your abdominal muscles expanding outward so much that it rips muscle (causing a hole) or rips it from the tendons. A hernia is much more worse than a spinal injury since a rip in the abdominal muscle can cause your intestine to squeeze out of the rip and or that piece of intestine will itself be squeezed to death thus having to remove that piece of intestinal flesh. Sure it is said wearing such devices hampers ones own stomach muscle core groups, (since your body is relying on intra-abdominal pressure rather than all core muscle) but I'd rather wear one during working, than not wear one at all and get a Hernia. ... show more
