The L/XL is definitely XL from asize ND fit perspective . It seems to be well made, unfortunately it is really too big, and doesn't give much support.

I wear a size 22, 5'9" tall, and have a lower back injury from a fall. I expected this to be similar to a waist trainer or something and make breathing uncomfortable, but not so. You can position it exactly where you need the support on your back, and adjust it to be as tight or loose as feels right for you. I don't know how such a simple design works as well as it does, but I feel a huge difference with my pain and support.
