    • Great multipurpose compound, stays moist, has multiple uses, just give it a try..
This is very good compound for a couple of reasons. It stays moist longer, so it stays easy to use without adding water. I found a second use for it as well. It worked very well to clean the stainless steel refrigerator of finger prints, and other unsightly marks from water, and whatever made it dirty. It takes time, but you rub it into the surface until you see that the marks are no longer visible, then take a clean cotton cloth, or towel and polish it off. It leaves the surface free of anything that makes it look bad, you will have clean stainless steel. So this compound has a lot of uses, you just have to have an imagination about what it does, and how you could apply it to other things that need to be polished or cleaned. One other thing would be bathroom sinks that are made of cultured marble. That is really a molded resin, and it can be polished to look like new in teh same way you would compound your car. ... show more

Turtle wax has always made decent products at a great value. If you use any of the Ceramic products out there today this product would be right for you. This is a “light” product that works great for minor surface scratches caused by mechanical car washes and rough brushes and rags. If you have heavier oxidation or haven’t done a paint correction in at least one year, this will not work for you. Perhaps the best feature is that it doesn’t flash so removing product is easy. It’s also good for just about every surface on the car and can even be hosed off with a water hose if you choose. I even used it to remove the haze and oxidation from my headlights! Pros - Works well with an orbital buffer. Does not flash easily. Great shine with no haze or dust. A little goes a long way. Perfect for occasional touch ups. Cons - Very thin compared to other polishing compounds. Does not cut enough to remove anything more than light surface scratches and haze. Takes longer to use for best results. Orbital buffer almost mandatory. Not recommended for hand use. ... show more

    • Mistake proof & effortless
The Turtle Wax "ICE" line is excellent. So easy to use (all ICE products). The Speed Compound is really more of a polish than a compound. Perfect for novices. I love that it doesn't dry (like Meguiars), so you don't have to rush to get it off, plus you can wipe it off easily or wash it off. I use it constantly at work for so many things. I was made aware by a friend of the fact that this compound can clear your headlights when applied by hand. I have purchased the headlight cleaning kits that require sandpapering and using a drill to clear headlights, so I was shocked at how well this product did when using just elbow grease. I'm curious to see what would happen if I used this compound with a pad and a drill or a DA or rotary. Turtle Wax Ice products are better than most people want to admit. ... show more

I love this stuff may not be the finest compound in the world but it washes off easy with water. In sunny California some waxes and polishes will stick hard if not wiped off soon. This seems to have some sort of soap in it and i polish the vehicle wet and wash off areas before it would dry. I use a power buffer with foam pads.Then go over with a fine cut polish then a wax. ... show more

Tried on small scratches and doesn't seem to work too well compare to other's thicker compound. It does work pretty speedy and remove super light and thin hairlines, not standard scrolling marks as claim.

High wind blew trash can against my car's fender and scuffed it up. This compound took it right out, then I tried it on my foggy headlights and it cleared them up, so I am quit satisfied with this product.
