I have a lowest back (sacrum) issue and most back support devices don't do a good job of reinforcing that area. This one is different. Many back braces have the double-adjustable Velcro bands but the key to this belt are the 2 hard pads that fit at either side of the backbone between the hips. These pads deliver comfortable pressure and great stability, relieving pain and giving more confidence during heavy lifting. The detachable shoulder straps that allow the rig to remain ready while completely unfastened is also very convenient feature. I'm a big guy, 6'3" 250lb and this brace has saved my back. The inner belt provides the initial snug fit with the outer bands used to prove more tensive support to the lumbar and sides. Love the "Y" suspenders they stay inplace and don't fall off my shoulders when I bend like the dual straps. Velcro has stayed tight and not slipped during the day. Simple enough to say that proper back protection when lifting continuously is extremely important. I cannot tell you how many employees I met with horrible backs due to not wanting to waste the amount offered on such a positive tool. Totally worth it

Love the 'Y' strap look in the back, certainly unique compared to other brands out there, just don't know if it will hold up overtime considering it's a single and not two straps like the usual 'X' style holding the belt.
