This printer is good for the price. Quality of the prints is nowhere near that of a laser printer. Probably 3.5 stars, but I rounded up. It's a low-end printer with limited features. Small gravity-fed feed tray, slow printing, double -sided done manually, etc. The print head also clogs easily and the cleaning procedure is not mentioned in the booklet that comes with the printer. But you do get a printer, scanner and copier all together. BUT the scanner does not work out of the box anymore. Through Win 10 on PCs, this printer was plug and play. Not anymore. Even though it is not mentioned in the manual or online, if you have Win 11 you now have to install scanner software ET2850_EScan2_65280_NA.exe which is available from Epson but not included with the printer. In addition, the scanning software must be started manually on the PC before scanning. THEN it works. It took multiple calls to Epson to find this out. ... show more

    • Once Ink Pad is full with E-11 error code - printer no longer works

I have had this printer for just over two years. During this time I have had no complaints. I had no idea though, there is an "ink pad" that has been filling up during this time. Initially I replaced the ink pad with an off brand unit since I was unable to purchase an Epson replacement part through Amazon. I have always used Epson Ink since it is available at C----- at a discounted price, normally with an additional discount. I like not having to replace ink cartridges. The ink lasts a long time. Even after replacing the Ink pad with the Epson brand ink pad, I was unable to reset the E-11 error code, using every option I could find online. After calling Epson support and knowing the unit is no longer under warranty, I am not willing to pay someone to come out and tell me the unit is not salvageable when tech support is telling me the ink pad is not an item that can be replaced by the user. So, you make a product the user is not able to maintain and has to then pay to have someone come out and service? It was easy to replace with the correct screwdriver. Thankfully, said product was purchased from C------ and their return/replacement policy is second to none. I will get a new (replacement) printer and should have another two years to decide what to do when the next ink pad is full. I will NOT be purchasing another EPSON at that time if this has not been remedied. ... show more

Purchased this 3 months ago worked great for 3 WHOLE months it shut down and won’t turn back on!!! Amazon will not credit nor resend another past the 30 day period so I’ve just stuck a very hard to come by 200 bucks up a pigs butt I guess!!! After researching apparently Im not the only one with the issue as tons of people are complaining on line with the same problem with this printer buyer BEWARE!!!! ... show more
