I have used it in campgrounds and now I can go for a walk with my husband and dog. We took the back rest and kids seat off to make it more comfortable for my husband. He is 250+ pounds and it still works great. This scooter is mine but he wants to ride it all the time. Yes, its pricy but , if you are disabled or need help walking once in a while ,, this is the scooter for you.

The Ephesus has plenty of power. I wish the seat was a little bigger. I took it to the campgrounds and was able to get around.

For the most part it's great,folds nicely I purchased this in May now my battery indicator and Horn doesn't work How do I get in contact with the company to get it fixed

The product is undoubtedly fine for outdoor use where you have plenty of room to maneuver like going to a park. But it will be no good to use inside a store or in any heavily congested setting. I bought this for plane travel and to use on a cruise ship. Once I test drove it in my house, it proved to be too fast in trying to maneuver hallways and around furniture. The long radius steering exacerbated this dangerously by crashing into objects, and obstructions. In a crowded area, the lack of tight maneuverability and absence of infinitely variable speed control renders this scooter a hazard to others around it. This is just not a product for in-house maneuvering.

I like everything about this mobility scooter! 1)It's TUFF. 2)Goes for a long distance. 3)It's fast & powerful. 4)Climes steep grades. 5) Two seats. So my wife and I can go for rides (I'm 155 lbs, and she is 110 lbs). 6) Very well designed! 7)Great throttle response! I can go from a craw (inches per hour) to 12 mph. When I first received my scooter, the box was damaged, and one of the front wheels was broken (see photo). Their customer service replaced it at no cost. I use the Hell out of this thing! Two or three times a day, I use it to walk the dog for about a mile or more. When it's nice and dry outside our walks are through our woods (hills and bumps). Now, if you're thinking about buying one, here are a few tips; 1)Get a white one. I got a black one. The thing is, they use white plastic for the fenders than paint them. On mine, in places of high wear, some white is coming through (see photos). 2)Buy a pair of straight handlebars. and move the brake lever over to the right side. That way you can safely drive one-handed. The seat; I have read that people hate the seats. And, I'll admit that they are not very comfortable. But they get better after some brake in time. Also, the seat is why "Confort" dropped a STAR. Buy it. Ya can't go wrong.
