This is a great optic. It has held zero for years now and at least 1,000 rounds. It is a little on the heavy side, but worth it for how well it works. It fits very snugly on a rail with not movement whatsoever.

When I was in a position to, once again, add an AR-15 to my firearms collection, I gave lots of consideration and did lots of research as to whether I'd go with a red dot, holographic, or rifle scope for my optics choice. I finally gave in and went with this EOtech EXPS-2.0, with the red reticle. I LOVE IT!! As someone with nearsightedness, I was leaning towards a rifle scope that I could focus to my eye strength/weakness, and give myself an edge, but, as a combat vet, I also realized that if I ever had to use it in close quarters, I didn't want to lose an edge. So I chose this holographic sight to split the difference and I've been happy with the decision. Very clear glass! The reticle is very bright, even in the CA sunshine where I take it out to have fun. Battery life has been amazing. And, when it comes down to it, and when you use it properly, it improves your sight picture acquisition time, as well as helps your precision. My photo above is from this weekend and that is at 100 yards. A few groups are MOA and possibly sub-MOA. Can't hate on that. ... show more

Very sturdy and well made. I read a review of HWS that said this was the smaller version to other EOTECH options but the glass is plenty big. I paired mine with the Vortex Optics VMX-3T 3X and they match up great. One heads up there: You will definitely have to use the enclosed shim on the VMX-3T to get alignment. ... show more

I was unsure about buying my EOtech from Amazon with all the reviews of fakes. I was very carefully on who the seller was. I purchased from OPTICSBUDDY. My EXPS2-OGRN came in a heavy duty box with magnetic closure. I contacted EOtech and confirmed OPTICSBUDDY as licensed seller of EOtech and confirmed that as of April 2024 packaging was changed from plastic case to this heavy duty box. PRO: The product is genuine, seems to function fine (for now), is better for astigmatism than a red dot, and looks to be quite sturdy except for the scratch on the rear glass. CON: As you can see in the pictures there is a large amount of excess sealant within the top of the glass on both sides of the sight. Even more concerning is the long white scratch on the top of the rear end of the sight. I had trouble getting a good picture, so some of these look like the scratch is part of the glare from that excess sealant, but it's not. You may say, hell, it's just a little excess sealant, but for a $600 sight you don't expect day 1 issues, it causes you to doubt the waterproofing on the sight, and it's quite shiny, which could give away your location if your use case entailed avoiding that. You may say, a little scratch on the top part of the sight? It's still functional, right? But this part is absolutely intolerable. You depend on this sight when operating a firearm, buy it for better peripheral awareness, so for the picture in any way to be compromised, it makes this worth maybe $100 tops for me. It also makes you wonder if the rear glass is entirely structurally sound. I'm very disappointed but, like the other reviewer who had the sealant issues but not the scratch, Amazon customer service quickly issued a refund without any hassle, even doing a UPS pickup at my front door due to the pandemic. I'll probably be buying this at a gun store where I can inspect the quality before buying, because I've waited at least a month to get this sight also due to the pandemic. I can use the quality Troy iron sights I got off amazon in the meantime. Save yourself the hassle and do the same. ... show more

At first looking at the radical I thought it was fake, but after I did my research on the EOTech i realized that the radical was meant to be like that ,hazy or pixelated. I apologize for the negative comment and review before. This company is genuine and I will definitely buy again fro you guys
