Sadly, I must return the Eosprim Patient Lift Transfer Chair, ASIN #B0FJF7SGC. Hopefully, this will be an informative review (with lots of pictures). I wanted this lift chair so I could take my bedridden, 97-year-old mother on car rides every few days. Mom is unable to hold her own weight, and without additional physical assistance, I am unable to lift and safely move her from the lift chair to the car (the lift chair does 80% of the moving, but I still have to adjust her feet and hold her body upright and steady). For reference, Mom is 5ft. 2in. and 128 lb. I am 5ft. 5in. and 103 lb. In conclusion, the 5-star rating is for quality and functionality. None of the little issues listed would have been a deal breaker if I were stronger, or Mom had enough mobility/strength to assist with moving from the lift chair to the car. PROS: Fits into the passenger side of my 2013 Honda CRV, SUV perfectly!! The frame can be separated into two or more parts for transport. The lift chair has several height and width adjustments. Adjusting the seat to different heights was easy. I adjusted the height of Mom’s bed to the same height as my car. The straps that secure the seat to the frame are very thick and strong. Mom can roll from side to side, so I was able to position the seat under her and move her to the lift chair without any assistance. I never used the crank. The seat can be raised or lowered. The entire lift chair can be raised or lowered via a crank. The crank will allow you to lift the chair an additional 6 to 8 inches. I felt more comfortable shortening the straps rather than using the crank to raise the chair. The directions were clear, and YouTube was helpful. I am NOT a do-it-yourself person, so it took me much longer to assemble. Also, I put the part with the foot pads on backward, with the knob on the inside of the frame. CONS: The seat is firm; I added a pillow for cushion. When you move between the bed, vehicle, and wheelchair, it can be a hassle to adjust the seat heights. It is more difficult to roll the chair over carpet. If the person you need to move/lift has no or limited mobility/body strength, it can be extremely difficult for a small person to utilize. If your couch or recliner legs are lower than six or seven inches off the floor, you will need blocks to allow the chair to roll under.

I'm giving this 5 stars. I honestly didn't use it yet but the assembly process was so easy. Box packed nicely, all parts labeled and separate. I'll add an addendum when I actually use it for my mom. It is quite sturdy.

We are still learning to use it. My mother has dementia so every time we are relearning. Luckily their are excellent teaching videos on u tube. Saves your back.
