Decent for what you are paying for. Not the highest quality when it comes to spacing and design but it comes together well. Directions aren't the best but not really needed if you are a bit savy (my son put it together and had never done anything like that before). I wouldn't max it out on weight but it is plenty fine for most jobs. Folds up neatly BUT there is nothing from keeping the horizontal legs folded up other than gravity so if it gets bumped a bit the legs will open up and damage whatever is in its path.

This costs almost 1/2 the price of an equivalent Harbor Freight Product; it sounded almost too good to be true. The good news is it went together fairly smoothly, and it appears to be functional. Some issues were that two bolts (#15 M16x110mm and#16 M14x110mm) were mislabeled, which caused delays. I posted some other comments in the pictures for smoother assembly. The only big issue is one Lock Pin 16x90mm did not have a hole drilled in it for the cotter pin. I contacted Garvee requesting a replacement part. The welds, finish and parts appear to be at least Harbor Freight quality. I will follow up if I ever receive the replacement pin. 4/22/2026 Garvee responded to my inquiry regarding the replacement part. In lieu of sending a new part, Garvee sent a $15 Amazon gift credit. The customer service is great, therefore 5 stars.

Horrible instructions. Screws all thrown in 1 bag. Need a magnifying glass to read the zero helpful instructions. Used pictures online to assemble. Other than that seems pretty sturdy.

There are so many things wrong with this hoist. The main frame that everything bolts to is welded as if the welding jig itself is built out of square. This causes everything that is bolted to the frame to be misaligned. There really is no fixing that. Other issues are the weld quality, thin sheet metal used on casters, casters missing, bolts missing, large pins missing, the ridiculous instruction assembly manual. I could buy upgraded casters, I could buy better bolts and pins but the unevenness of the completed hoist makes it unusable.

Good engine hoist for the price very cheap hardware, no instructions but easy to figure out, but if you want a more reliable lift get better hardware for it other than that it seems good for your average driveway mechanic

I didn't need a super nice cherry picker, but somehow this still was way underwhelming. Absolute bare minimum on packaging meant it was very dinged up and scratched right off the bat. Basically no instructions. Hardware is super cheap. The real kicker is the casters. I haven't pulled them apart but I have a feeling there's no bearings in the wheels. This means moving it with a little weight even on smooth concrete is almost impossible.

Good hoist for the price. The good: Nice finish Well packed Good price Once assembled it was very sturdy and easily adjustable Folds up nicely The not so good Directions were horrible Directions were wrong in areas concerning Hardware Hardware did not contain enough washers (more washers were needed than indicated in directions) Directions had flat bolts inserted the wrong direction so that the legs didn't sit flat causing rods to not insert Strap supports fit poorly Directions indicated bolts but bugle head screws were supplied (not sure of their strength)
