  • Works as expected.
Size: 2000 Watts
I installed this in my semi truck. It arrived in perfect condition, installed easy by following the simple instructions, and started right up with no problems. Having worked extensively with 12 volt systems in boats and RVs I knew to give it a good stress test so any problems would show up right away. I hooked up a heavy load and ran it for 30 minutes. The inverter heated up (as normal), the fan functioned to keep it from overheating, and the 120v electricity never faltered. Then I hooked up a moderate (1000w) load and ran it for several hours. No problems at all. ... show more

  • If I could do it over, I would have gotten a pure sine wave inverter
Size: 2000 Watts
Overall the inverter is fine. It works and seems to work well. The primary issue I have is with the modified sine wave. I didn't think it would be this noticeable but the first thing I did was plug my laptop in. The laptop power supply charges the laptop but the laptop power supply hums or buzzes. After researching it, that's just what modified sine wave inverters do. They make the power supplies do that. ... show more

  • Excellent
Size: 1500 Watts
Waiting for my second unit to arrive . Something I learned about inverters . People have no idea how to calculate wattage for 12 volts. I also learned that is extremely easy to install and purchase an inline fuse . If your shopping on Amazon an in-line fuse should be in your cart. If it’s smoking you probably didn’t actually look at what your alternator and inverter can handle out of the box. Most people using this setup in their trucks . Cannot get the full 1500 watts with the stock alternator. For this unit with a high output alternator your safe with a 150 amp fuse . Your stock truck should have an inline fuse no bigger than 60 amps from the start. You can install everything right. However Your truck cannot Match the 1500 watts your trying to push through it. I don’t speak for everyone . Those who don’t have a clue start small. I wouldn’t push more than 700 watts through this until. Make the correct changes to your vehicle . It’s a great device . Works great , no drop in power . I have this mounted in my truck bed out of the weather . I have the remote , mounted in the blank plate in the cab. It’s handled everything I’ve needed it to do. Be safe do your homework. This works safely directly to your battery terminal. I have a stock anl bus bar on my diesel battery . I’ve seen people attach to that bus bar and fry half of their electrical components. Take a minute, plan and learn . ... show more

  • KEEPS BLOWING FUSES
Size: 100 Watts
Got a defective unit, worked for about 5 days then fuse within unit blew along with fuse for cigarette lighter. So, I changed both fuses, the 10 amp small clear tube like within the unit and the 20 amp vehicle fuse. Both popped again, so I stopped trying. I didn't plug anything over 100 watts (unit rating), mainly just an LG G6 and Samsung Galaxy cellphones to the USB ports. Unfortunately for me I misplaced it since I tossed it in the back of the truck with tool & materials & couldn't find it to return it in time. I chose this unit hoping it was made with quality, I cannot return it at this point even though I just now found it. Might look at another manufacturer to purchase new since this unit is useless. $20 wasted. ... show more

  • Low Voltage
Size: 4000 Watts
We had high hopes for this inverter since it's said to be an "Energizer"! 4000w was perfect for what we needed. However, after installing it, we found that it was only putting out 104v and wouldn't run the appliances we needed it to run! We asked for a replacement and when we received that, the replacement was only putting out 95v!! There is definitely something wrong with these inverters. Buy a different brand. ... show more

  • Failed first time using
Size: 1500 Watts
When my inverter arrived I opened the box it has electrical burn smell. I didn’t think much of it. I hooked up to a battery the power was able to turn on and off. A week later I took it out for a camping trip it failed on me when trying to use on rice cooker with only 565watt. I was very disappointed. Not sure if I want a replacement or go with different brand. ... show more

  • Keep an eye on your batteries it drains them fast
Size: 2000 Watts
I put this in my camper. And plugged in my camper to one outlet with an extension cord and am basically able to run my camper on it. Can only use the microwave or coffee pot one at a time. But it runs the fridge and tv and blue ray pretty good. We do have a ninja coffee pot so it draws more electricity than your basic coffee pots. I like the read out on the inverter. It tells you how many volts it getting from the batteries and how many watts it is putting out. but I wish it told you how many amps it was drawing not just how many watts it is put out. According to the way I am reading the paperwork it can draw as many as 175 amps and the inverter in my camper is only capable of charging at 45 amps max. Anything over 600 watts and the fan on the inverter kick on. And it does make the fan on my camper charger inverter run quite a bit. So that kinda tells me that it is drawing a lot amps. I have had to hook my pickup up with jumper cables a couple times to help charge my camper batteries. I am pretty happy with it just wish it had more read outs on it. But over all I am fairly happy with this inverter. ... show more

  • Defective out of box, but nice concept
Size: 1500 Watts
Short version, after much experimentation I've concluded this thing arrived defective out of the box. Probably a capacitor went bad sitting in storage or something along those lines. Will take it apart later and attempt to repair it. The low rating for not working out of the box. It didn't get one star because I like the inverter design overall, if it was actually working properly. ... show more
