It’s super soft after wash as expected. I got the checkered brown queen size and it very well made with the color be in line which giving stunning luxury look and feel. It’s breathable and light weight too. And it’s warm enough to make you feel covered. I did try an order brand and felt colder when having it on compared to not having a blanket. I am what you call a 'hot sleeper' and I searched for quite awhile for a cotton blanket for the summer months. One after another I had to return them. One was too heavy, one wasn't cotton as listed etc. And then I found this one. Wow, what a difference it makes! Our summers are very humid and on top of that I live directly across from the lake ... my apt is so humid that all of my book covers curl up. If I use my regular comfy blanket I feel like I am sleeping in a plastic bag and I wake up sweating uncomfortably, even with air conditioning on. But when I use this cotton blanket, I am not sweating at all. Dry as a bone! :) It is lightweight & breathable and soft enough. I am used to my comfy cozy blankets so compared to those this feels kind of thin, but it feels comfortable enough and since I don't want to wake up drenched, I will happily use this blanket. It washed up beautifully, I put it in the dryer and it came out great. It comes pre-washed and didn't shrink at all. There was no odor when it arrived. I ordered the light tan color & it looks great on my bed as a decorative throw. I got the larger size throw as I didn't want a full size blanket. As I am only 5' tall, it is perfect for me to sleep with. Also great for curling up on the sofa with a book or watching TV. ~ Recommended!

I was skeptical buying due to the thought of them being low quality because of the reasonable price but it is very nice! It’s light but keeps you warm.
