Exactly as described in appearance. Very nice quality of craftsmanship. Look more expensive than they are. Make sure they are the right size. Read the dimensions. Some people seem surprised that they are not as large as they wished. You must read the details. As for instructions, Fuggedabatit. A tiny diagram is given. That is all. I had to study it with a magnifying glass, attempt to download an instruction manual as indicated on the website and even call for the manual. There is nothing other than the original diagram. I got one put up on my front porch after studying YouTube videos , but hired a handyman to put the other 3 on my garage. He had problems, but those were mostly due to previous poor construction of said garage. But note that it took him a while of putzing around the light itself, and then the last 2 were easier. ... show more

Hey I am pleasantly surprised at these, nice lights. The glass isn’t too thin the fixture isn’t overly robust but built well enough that I expect it will last a long time, easy enough to install and I placed dusk to dawn sensing LED bulbs I picked up at the local ace hardware, they look good on my house and I added a couple to my shop so the two buildings would match, I would recommend these. ... show more

These look great and are definitely easy to install. We found the instructions, while not terribly detailed, good enough to install these very basic fixtures. However, be warned that the glass in these is incredibly fragile. These are outdoor fixtures so I've got very little confidence that they'll last long. One already broke just in trying to install it. Identical replacement glass is not cheap. Overall, I wouldn't buy this again just because of the fragility of a major component. These are great little lights, easy to assemble and put up. No complaints. If you are on the fence, buy them. I mixed these in with some more expensive lights that they coordinated well with, but were in areas that weren't so visible (back door, etc.). I’ve had one of these up for about two months, and it still looks good. (I had to wait to install the second light because we were having some work done at the back of the house.) The installation was easy. This set was a quick way to update the front and back porches. The opening on the glass cover is pretty tight, so you may need help screwing in the bulbs if your hand won’t fit. I like that the covers open on the bottom because I don’t miss having porch lights that trapped bugs. I got the vintage-style bulbs to complete the look. ... show more

    • Look nice but rust fast
Wish I had put some sort of protective spray on these; we put 6 of these around our house and they’ve all rusted pretty strongly. rust appeared 3 years ago and I’m finally replacing after 4 1/2.
