I have used a lot of voice controlled products in the past. But never have I used a voice controlled device that was offline. I had to try it and there was a lot of positive factors that I didn’t know that came with offline voice control. First off, and probably the biggest reason to get a smartvoice product is plug and play. The voice control can be used as soon as the smartvoice product is plugged in. There is no wifi connection to set up and no app that you need to download. Voice control is also very fast. When I say a command to the heater, the tower heater responds to my voice command quickly. There is little to no delay. The last reason why I really appreciate offline voice control in smartvoice products is privacy protection. Smartvoice processes commands locally meaning that your data is never saved or transferred anywhere else. Overall, I think the accessibility and simplicity of the offline voice control makes smartvoice quality products.

This heater can be controlled by voice, remote control or the buttons on it. For some reason the heater prefers my husband’s voice commands over mine and my daughter’s. We have to yell at it and sometimes it’ll cooperate. My family laughs at me every time I yell “Hey Heater” because I usually have to yell it more than once for it to work. It typically responds to my husband on the fist try.So I mainly use the remote control or the buttons. It looks sleek and is easy to move with the top handle. The heater helped us get through a very cold Midwest winter. We have high ceilings so even with good windows sometimes we needed a little extra heat in our family room. It heats up quickly and the oscillating feature spreads the heat around. The most difficult part about operating this heater is remembering where the remote is, and that’s all on us. I gave it 4/5 stars because the voice control doesn’t work consistently for me.

This SmartVoice heater is not like the other smart appliances I have in my home at all. All my other appliances have voice control via Alexa and connect to an app. But after trying the SmartVoice heater, I realized how unnecessary all the connectivity was. There are certain appliances where I don’t really need Alexa or an app for. SmartVoice has shown me that not all appliances need to be connected to the internet to be smart. I like this heater because I appreciate how simple, easy, and quick the voice control is. The fact that I don’t need an account or to download an app is super refreshing. Offline voice control is perfect for an appliance that just needs to do one thing.

I bought this heater for my grandma. She has trouble seeing. She even has trouble seeing the buttons on a TV remote these days. So I got my grandma this heater to not only keep her bedroom warm but to give her an easy way to control a heater that doesn’t require having to look at a remote or control panel. It took time for her to get used to the voice control, but once she did, there wasn’t any problem. Luckily, her great memory is still great so she had no trouble remembering most commands. And since it isn’t connected to wifi, I never have to worry about it disconnecting. Highly recommended.

What makes this heater special is that it has voice control without needing Wifi. You don’t need Google or Alexa to use voice control. The voice control worked perfectly as soon as I plugged it in. This heater is super convenient for me because of my current situation. For some reason, the internet is bad where I live so the Wi-Fi keeps cutting in and out. All my smart devices that connect to Wi-Fi require me to reconnect to the app whenever the internet goes out, but now I never have to worry about that with my SmartVoice heater. Love being able to operate this heater even when the wifi is down.
