I received this solar security light with two rotatable light heads and a large solar panel. The flood light comes with three modes, auto dim light, motion sensor, and constant stay on modes. I like to use the auto dim light mode which the solar flood light turn on with 100% bright when motion detected and it changes to 30% brightness after 60 seconds at night. Depends on people' need to set it up what brightness we need is very convenience. The solar security bright light comes with wall-mounting option and ground stake mount stand tools. The large capacity battery supports to work over night very well. Easy to install, I don't need to read the instruction to install the light. No electric required - solar panel. Light up a large area. The lights stay on all night. It has 3 setting, I used Option 1 - Auto Dim Light Mode, turn on at night with 100% bright light when motion detected, after 60 seconds become dim light. Automatically turn off at dawn.     • Great wires-free flood light solution

Want to add a light but not deal with all the headaches of running new wires through or outside of your house? This solar light is a decent solution, with it's obvious caveats. If you have a location that you wish to add some light at night, which also gets some light during the day, this solar light could be a solution for you. Obviously you are limited by needing this in a location which receives some light during the day. You may also want to consider how much daylight you get during the winter months. I've not tested how long the light stays usably bright for on a charge, but obviously it's not infinite like a hardwired light would be. This is a downside of any solar powered light, not just this one. I like that, since it is completely wire free, you can install this in different locations - as close to or as far away from your house as you may desire. I've not found a permanent home for the unit yet, but I'm currently using it on the supplied grown post to help light up a walkway at night. The lights can be positioned within a decent spread, and the solar panel up top pivots around as needed to optimize angle to sun depending on installation location. There would be more flexibility if you could detach the solar panel and run it by a short wire (i.e. under a deeper overhang on the house, with the panel up around the lip on the roof). Overall, I would recommend this item (with the caveat that longevity is still yet to be determined). ... show more

I’m a big fan of solar lighting but I can only use them effectively on two sides of my house. On the back I don’t get enough direct sunlight to fully charge the batteries but on the front it’s pretty much sun all day, unless it’s cloudy of course. This light can be wall mounted but if it’s under the eve of a house it won’t get good sun light which means it won’t work very well. I have it mounted using the pole in the ground in our fenced in little dog yard. It works pretty good there. The big dog yard is in the back where there’s not much direct sun. I’m giving four stars because the mounting options are limited. If the solar panel could be disconnected and mounted remotely with a wire to the lights this would be a great five star light. The motion sensor works great and the light is pretty bright when it gets enough direct sunlight. ... show more

It works great for my dog to use my backyard in the dark. The solar panel is twice as big as the others I owned, and the batteries are also bigger, so has more capacity to store energy. It's sturdy with an included pole. The light is very bright. Perfect for the dark spot in my big yard. The motion sensor works immediately once my dog is close to the light. ***UPDATE 4/30/24 This light has stopped working completely the past few weeks, so it really only worked for a month or two**** I started using this with the ground stake, ended up mounting this up with the provided kit. The light intensity is decent, but the coverage could be a bit wider.
