The wood-like look on these is great. They're sturdy & attractive. There were some minor flaws, but I was able to clean old tape off the rod with no problem. The ends have some tiny dings & dents & scuffs - but once up on the wall it isn't noticeable.

I love the way the rod itself looks, but I couldn't get the bar to avoid sagging in the middle as there was no way to tighten it. The wall anchors provided didn't work at all, the instructions stated to drill a hole that was far too large for them and then they wouldn't stay.

I got this rod in 2020 and LOVE IT - the faux wood pattern is uniform from end to end and it's a matte finish which actually looks like wood. The adjustable split in the middle was sturdy and for sheer curtains didn't even require a third hanger. Received 2023 order and its TERRIBLE. The finials are the same but the rod itself is a thin metal with a shiny white finish that has these weird streaks of brown paint. I guess they're supposed to look like wood but basically looks like a bargain rod that someone tried to DIY. Worst part is it sags badly without any weight and the extension doesn't lock. Major downgrade in quality and not worth the money at all. ... show more
