Features

  • 10W Output PowerELEGOO PHECDA laser engraver offers high performance and versatility with its 10W output power. With a high energy density of 0.06mm*0.06mm focal spot, it can achieve speeds of up to 25,000 mm/min without compromising quality. This makes it capable of engraving or cutting a wide range of materials, including wood, bamboo, kraft paper, stainless steel, and aluminum.
  • Large Engraving AreaThe machine also features a generous engraving area of 400 x 400 mm /15.75x15.75 inches, giving you the creative freedom to take on large projects or engrave multiple pieces at once. Plus, its height-adjustable laser head and adjustable risers enable you to engrave objects of different heights with ease.
  • Smoke Filtering ExhaustTo ensure a clean and safe work environment, the laser head is equipped with a smoke exhaust filter and dual cooling fans that effectively absorb fumes and dust generated during engraving. The filter cartridge has a detachable cover for easy filter removal and replacement.
  • Multiple Operation MethodsThe ELEGOO Phecda laser engraver offers multiple operation methods for your convenience. You can control the machine via a mobile App for remote WIFI operation and custom engraving (your phone must be connected to the machine's wifi), transfer data using a USB cable or TF card, and it supports LightBurn and LaserGRBL software for added flexibility.
  • Magnetic Shading PlateOne standout feature of the Phecda is its translucent magnetic shading plate. This innovative structure shields your eyes from harmful UV light and can also function as a laser filtering see-through cover to observe the light spot engraving track. Additionally, it doubles as a smoke collection device, improving the efficiency of the smoke filter. For even more safety, the machine comes with goggles to protect your eyes.
  • Safety ProtectionSafety is a top priority with the ELEGOO Phecda, thanks to its built-in sensor that immediately stops and beeps if flames are detected. If the machine is accidentally moved, tilted, or flipped during operation, it will pause and alarm.
  • Efficient Filtration SystemThe machine's smoke exhaust filter and two cooling fans on the laser head effectively filter and exhaust fumes and dust generated during engraving. After engraving, the fans work for one more minute to prolong fan service life, reduce noise, and save power. The filter cartridge has a detachable cover for easy filter removal and replacement.
  • Stable and Quiet MovementThe machine frame is constructed with aluminum alloy for durability and stability, especially when operating at high speeds. The high-quality silent driver motor reduces vibration and running noise. The aerospace-grade POM V-wheels are ultra-quiet, high-precision, and wear-resistant, while the two rows of 3 + 3 V-wheels of the Y axis, combined with the V-groove slide rail and high-tension synchronous belt, ensure stable, quiet, and precise movement of the laser module.
  • Unique Laser HeadThe Satellite Orbit Module cools and protects delicate components in perfect synchronicity. Phecda's laser head features a horizontal structure and rail insertion design for easy replacement, a focal positioning bar for simple focal distance adjustment, and a detachable window mirror to prevent accuracy loss due to mirror damage.
  • More Practical FeaturesThe magnetic plate on the Z-axis serves as both a laser filtering see-through shield to protect eyes from UV light and a smoke collection device to absorb smoke. The machine has a built-in sensor that immediately shuts down and beeps if a fire is detected, and it will automatically stop and alarm when the laser engraver is moved, tilted, or flipped. Phecda is compatible with LightBurn and LaserGRBL software and supports TF card/USB/Wi-Fi/APP control for Windows/Mac/iOS/Android. The engraving file format supports SVG/DXF/JPG/JPEG/PNG/BMP/TIF and more.

  • Feels a little underpowered.
Size: Package 1
I’ve been playing with my Phecda since the moment I got it (10w w/ air assist) and it feels like the machine is underpowered. I’ve checked all connections just to make sure, and with certain settings it certainly works just ok. I’m having to use 100% power and low speed to get it to engrave words on to hardwood; which is why I bought the engraver. With other 10w lasers I haven’t had this issue but I’m a fan of elegoo so I thought I’d try it. I’m going to continue to play with it to see if there is something I’m missing. But as of right now I feel like it’s going to be a return. EDIT : Elegoo did reach out to me about the issue almost immediately after my review had posted to speak about it. Their resolution was to have me run diagnostics on the brand new machine.. I’m not about that life. The process would have been check everything, send in the machine, and wait to get a new one back. I’m nearly positive it would be faster but to send the defective one back to Amazon and buy a new one.. but I’m not going to get another phecda. I will list what I did and did not like about the phecda though. Pros : the machine itself looks nice, the touch screen is reactive and the machine is quite quiet. It stood tall enough that I could fit a couple of boards under the laser head the prevent burning my table if the head unit was not placed correctly. It’s light weight so if it needed to be moved it was easy to pick up and move. The printer was very reactive with light burn so it made attempting to use the engraver easy. CONS : there are no end stops to this engraver, so the machine has no idea where the laser head is at any time. It’s very easy to have the laser crash in to the sides when it’s framing. The orange filers sit too high on the printer so it doesn’t really protect anything unless you’re looking down on it while it’s sitting on the floor engraving. I never could get the WiFi and app to work.. though it seemed like it was very limited in what it could do. Putting the machine together wasn’t too bad, it took just about the same amount of time to put any other engraver or 3D printer together with the exception of 4 bolts. The 4 bolts what were used to hold the legs to the frame were absolutely frustrating to get in their hold so they could be attached to the machine. Also on this machine it’s harder to adjust the laser than other machines because it has two knobs you have to loosen to adjust the head up and down.. which makes it very easy to accidentally move the x and y axis.. which leads to crashing in to the frame if you’re not careful. All together I think in the future elegoo will have an awesome laser engraver but this one’s not for me. ... show more

  • not for beginners, lack of instructions
Size: Basic
I have been engraving for two years. I happened upon this laser and ordered it and I will say although it may be said it's for beginners, I find the laser nor trying to set the software up in Lightburn easy if you have not used either of them before. After following Elegoo's instructions when hitting the home button in GRBL, the laser moves to the top left and won't stop. It just keeps grinding the belt away as it can't move anymore until you shut it off. I find this disheartening as to why they could have not made a software that knows where the limits are on the machine without having to manually try and set it up every time you turn it on. So, when I import a picture into grbl and hit frame, the thing loses its mind. I have worked with this laser for a couple weeks and I find it very unfriendly and hard to use. It was fairly easy to put together and I had high hopes when it comes to engraving but that's not the case for me. I have spent hours trying to get the Phecda to do what I want with no success. Why can't the makers of the software have their own software that controls the laser and knows what its limits are and stops before it goes beyond it. I find this laser very frustrating after using mine and while I am probably going to spend more time with it, I at this point would not recommend this for a new user that has to constantly tinker with settings to try and get it to work. If Elegoo wants to continue to sell this, I think there needs to be very detail instructions on how to setup the laser in Lightburn after installing GRBL because I don't have hours to spend trying to figure out settings when the creators of this product could have done this work for you so users could have an enjoyable experience. Grbl doesn't cut it for me and isn't much of an app and for more complex stuff that has multiple layers, I found I have to bust the layers up and import and cut them one at a time on the version I was told to download. My my other laser, I can easily separate them in the software and print what I want. On my Glowforge I do have to adjust it a little to get what I want but it homes properly and doesn't go beyond its limits. It also worked right out of the box. I realize the laser is just getting off the ground, but I find the documentation that comes with it is very minimal, doesn't go into a lot of detail and lacks the information that users really need to know to hit the ground running with it. If you want to sell this to the masses online, you are going to have to spend the time to put detailed instructions on how to set it up in Lightburn so it works right off the bat. New users are not going to want to spend hours upon hours trying to figure out how to make it work. ... show more
