What can I say about Xtool… This is for anybody that wants to create a business at home you can laser engrave and cut on various materials, wood acrylic you can cut vinyl. This is the machine for people. They want everything in one machine to start a business. The machine has an immaculate design. And can astonishing designs at your fingertips. You can create all kinds of things for weddings, birthdays, you name it whatever comes to mind in the sense of designing and selling so if you’re looking for a machine that is groundbreaking for your upcoming business, this is the machine to get! Pro: 1. Simple to use 2. Doesn’t require a lot of real estate 3. Software is amazing 4. Customer service is great They do everything possible to help you with any problems with your machine even sending you replacement parts if needed as well as replacing your machine entirely. Cons: 1: You need to keep the laser clean at all times to prevent clogging or malfunctions. But that standard practice for people that want to keep their machines maintained. ... show more

wow. when it comes to affordability this product is the perfect hybrid cutter/laser that has enabled me to expand my creativity even farther. first, the box arrived and was beautifully packaged, i was inspired just looking at all the pretty projects on the box. haha. I purchased the complete kit so it contained everything I needed to start creating right out of the box. the unit took about 30 minutes from unboxing to startup. and that included my husband cutting me a wooden widow device to hold my exhaust tube in place so I didnt have to hang it out a window. follow the instructions for set up and you will need to install the xtool software on your laptop/desktop, if you are a crafter that uses the cricut type cutting machines youll like that the software is similar to design space therefore you shouldnt fumble around the software. there are community projects that you can download and there are projects on the xtool software so you can create immediately. if you plan on using the RA2 cylindrical unit I would suggest purchasing the riser box as did I. I didnt care for the riser legs that were included in the package and wanted a more enclosed safe space as I do have a curious first grader, best to be safe. but I'll leave that review for the actual product, just mentioning it here. also, if you should have any problems or questions the Xtool company is very happy to help. they reached out to me about a week after purchase to check on how I was doing with the product and addressed any of the questions I had. I strongly recommend this product. easy to use, comes with everything needed to begin creating, great customer service and affordable device. ... show more

I'm rewritting my review. The machine it's self is wonderful, so easy to operate and great quality. We did have an issue with power about 3 months into useage. Contacting Customer Service was a challange, due to the fact that we are dealing with people in a different Time Zone. I found the easiest form on contact through my Amazon Account. The unit was totally replaced within two weeks. It feels like an extended time period while your waiting but honestly inhind sight, it was appropirate. Each person I communicated with was kind and professional. Special Thanks to Lia in XTool Tech Support, Yvette and Amazon/Xtool Customer Support I truly appreicate your support through this. I've had this for a few.months now, and have done many things with it. Engraving leather, stainless steel tumblers, wood, etching glass, cutting wood, and much more. The M1 has yet to disappoint. I love the Creative Space software, and the camera in the machine makes it so much easier to accurately place and size your work. I was torn between this and another laser engraved, and I'm so glad I chose the M1. Customer service is great and responds quickly to answer any questions, and the free projects on the xtool website are the best. If you're on the fence, I would highly recommend taking a chance with this machine. You will not be disappointed. ... show more
