  • A great co2 laser
Color: Gray Size: P2 All-in-One Kit
I has an older co2 laser that they never upgraded the software and it's not lightburn compatible. Therefore I was in the market for a new laser. This one is great. The software is really easy to learn. I can ve at work and design a project then once home cut it out.

  • Xtool P2 Air Current Exception Issue
Color: Gray Size: P2 All-in-One Kit
I was able to work with support to resolve the issue. The support team is very good and patient as well they are extremely thorough in their diagnostic processes. They really want to identify known issues and resolve or repair them. The only challange is Xtool support is based in China and the time zone difference can be difficult if they need to remote access. Basically, I am on the east coast and when it is 9:00pm EST it is 10:00 AM in Beijing. Xtool support is high quality and sincere! ... show more

  • Nightmare customer service, Laser doesn’t work!
Color: Gray Size: P2 All-in-One Kit
Just because it looks fancy and the marketing is flashy, don’t think you’re gonna get what you expect. I’ve been trying to get a P2 laser since October 2023. Ordering from XTool themselves is impossible. When I finally get the laser from Amazon all excited, I find that it DIDNT WORK. Amazon doesn’t care about customer service. They refer you to xTool customer service number which they NEVER answer. They don’t answer emails either. Eventually, they answered on their Support website which they are discontinuing, and It took more than TWO MONTHS for them to send replacement parts which also NEVER arrived. (By the way, the fire system is complicated to install and looks like an afterthought) Save yourself the heart ache and disappointment and your money. Don’t order XTool and don’t order Amazon either. ... show more

  • Could use refinement, but good for the price
Color: Gray Size: P2 Versatile Kit
UPDATED REVIEW: xTool reached directly out to me about concerns I had shared about the laser. It certainly shows that they stand behind their product and want to support their customer. When it comes to lasers, support means a ton! With that said... To give context, I've had 7 different lasers over time. I use to own and operate a shop with them. I sold that business but continue using lasers to make gifts/trophies/name badges/give-aways for our other companies I operate. There's a difference between hobby machines (low $1,000s) to pro-consumer or pro-sumer (below $10,000) and industrial ($10,000+). I've owned them all. Those expected differences are in a combination of the software integration (how easy is it to go from CAD/design software to a cut/engraved product) and hardware integration (how easy is it to set-up and utilize the hardware components). I assume the P2 is aimed at the pro-consumer based on price and construction. It's roughly $6,000 to get a P2 with all the accessories. The machine even looks like a pro-consumer machine. Well-built and just plain looks good. Here are the specifics... Camera - One of the main reasons I wanted this machine was it having the ability to take a photo of your material on the bed and show it to you on the screen. The initial picture the P2 takes is too low resolution, there's a secondary button to take a higher resolution close-up picture of an area you select on the bed. If you don't use that secondary higher resolution feature and just rely on the low resolution first image, your markings could be off by nearly 1/4". Bed Design - Most jobs you're going to run on a laser, you want to be 100% sure your material is lined up parallel to the laser. So in most lasers you shove your material up and into the corner of the bed; a 90 degree corner that is perfectly parallel to the path of the laser. The way the bed is designed on the P2 you can't simply shove an item like a name badge up to the edge. Why? Because there's a dead-space between the edges of the bed and where the laser can actually engraving/cutting. Simple work-around is to lay an rectangular strip of acrylic or wood around the edges of the bed like a jig, so that you have a solid and square edge to push your material up against and you can be confident that the material is aligned parallel to the laser's path. Another Bed Design - It comes with a blade bed as opposed to the honeycomb bed. IMHO, the honeycomb bed should be included. Most all materials you will laser, that don't need the rotary attachment, work perfectly fine on a honeycomb bed. And a honeycomb bed is super easy/quick to insert and remove. The blade bed isn't bad, but if xTool is only going to include one of two bed options is at this price, it should be the honeycomb bed. Rotary Attachment - A rotary attachment should have a bracket/plate/etc to fix itself into place, so you know your rotary attachment is sitting where the laser expects it to be, and you know the attachment is sitting exactly parallel to the path of the laser. With this machine, the rotary attachment sits loose on the bed. Expect to take a good few minutes to set-up and align the rotary attachment on the bed to the way the laser wants it. Got two cups to engrave? You'll have to re-line-up your rotary attachment twice because you will end up bumping or shifting the attachment when removing one cup to insert another. Got many cups to engrave? Double your estimate of how long it will take just because of going through the re-aligning every time you have to touch the attachment. Simple work-around is to cut a jig to help with re-aligning. I do think engineering could have come up with a parallel-drafting ruler tool or jib that would have helped with this set-up. Software - xTool Creative Space is usable and what is expected to be available for free with any laser. Pro-consumer machines often have at least some print driver / software integration with design software such as Illustrator or Corel Suite. ... show more

  • X-tool Laser engraver through Amazon
Color: Gray Size: P2 Basic
I purchased this machine through Amazon. I attempted to buy the extended warranty (Xtool Care plan) and originally denied because I did not purchase directly through Xtool website. After contacting them and explaining how disappointed and unfair this policy was. A few days later they contacted me and agreed with me and decided to change the policy for all orders from Amazon. They even offered me the care plan at no cost. I’m sold on Xtool products from this gesture. They are a company that listens to their customers and common sense. I’m very satisfied with their service thus far. They get my vote of confidence. ... show more
