My husband and I decided to get this as a Christmas present for ourselves. My husband loves playing Warhammer and I love the endless projects I can make with this printer. What really makes it over the top is the quality of the prints and the exceptional customer service. Set up (4.5/5): It's pretty straightforward and easy to set up, but getting it perfect (as close as I could) did take some work. I had the machine running after about an hour and was able to do my first test print. For the best print though, it took me about 2-3 days of testing different materials and settings to find the one I like. Finding the perfect setting will differ based on what resin you use. Printer (4/5): Since we love making miniatures we wanted something that prints as smoothly as possible. I've compared our prints with store bought models and they're nearly just as perfect. I can see the micro layers in some spots, but they're small enough that by the time it's painted they completely smooth out. The one downside I've found is that I have to level the plate every several prints, sometimes every print. It really depends on how hard the models stick to the plate. If you have to leverage them off, it can shift the base and you may need to re-level. It's not a big deal, but my husband has trouble getting the leveling right so I do it for him. The best tip I can give is to watch the plate when it raises (while leveling it) and check if one side is coming up first. Both should be even, otherwise you'll need to try it again. Customer service (5/5): Their customer service is top notch. Each time I've emailed their customer service, they've been very fast to respond (within a couple of hours), have had very detailed and easy to follow instructions to fix things, and are always willing to do whatever they need to help you get things working perfectly. I'm extremely happy with both the printer and Elegoo. This was our first 3D printer, so I know that at some point we'll be upgrading to the next tier model, which will definitely be another Elegoo Printer.

First of all, I’m very impressed by all the reviews I’ve seen on you tube and on here on how awesome this printer is. Not everyone can dish out $350 for this printer. But I saved and took a chance and I was not disappointed. Very user friendly from leveling the printer plate to printer settings. Made my first print without any issues and was instantly impressed with the results. The graphics and the speed it took to finish. Not sure about other printers but this one can use any resin just about. Also the quality of the print is amazing, the details as you can see in my photos. The only worry I had was with the delivery since this thing is very fragile. But it was packaged very well and also handled nicely. I have been using water washable resin and surprisingly it does a very good job at keeping the fumes down. Comes with charcoal filter that last forever! Highly recommend this printer..it’s definitely a good resin printer.

This was my first printer. I enjoy it and it's easy to use. It works nicely. I've had a good time using it. Great prints. When the plate is all the way up it drips and splashes pretty badly. I try to catch it when it finishes. All good if you do.

Fully assembled that's great, instructions should be clearer. Many things you need to know are not clearly written. Print quality after many failed attempts is really nice, I mean really nice. 3/3 Update I Really love this printer, pri Prints are outstanding get this its worth every penny

This is my First Resin printer. Was a little smaller than I expected, however, the setup, ease of Leveling and print Quality is out of this world comparatively!

Added comments first - Nov. 19th 2022 - Well, it is printing and doing well - the trial 'chess rook' printed 1st try and is smooth and I am pleased with it. Had some issues figuring out the software to 'slice' the .stl files & get a new part printing - my fellow Engineer in Illinois explained and walked me through it. I finally decided that getting the bugs out and figuring out things from youtube & twitter is a gig part of becoming a 3D printer, so I am 'enjoying the ride' at this point. older posts Done with setup and will TRY to print next week. BUT the usb plug-in air purifier they included does not work at all but instead of hassling with Elegoo & Amazon I just ordered a pair of the battery powered ones - another $25! Trying to deal with Elegoo seems to be a waste of time, and their site is a mix of Englicsh and Chinese so - - - no joy! I don't think that when yu email them that they really understand English so . . . . thank goodness for a friend with a similar printer and a good user community on Twitter!!!! The diagnostic display seemed to work oh=k so I am PRAYING that when I push the button it actually prints! . . . . . . . . . . . . . BUY FOR DRAMA & COMEDY - DON'T KNOW YET ABOUT BEING ABLE TO PRINT THINGS! So I ordered it, paid $550 for it, and got it. I checked the contents against the parts list and it was all there. So I threw away the box. Then the setup instructions call for a 'leveling card' that is not there. This card was NOT listed in the parts list. So I contact Elegoo. They say that I don't need the card. Then they say they will send me one from China - because the instructions say that to set it up correctly that I need it. If I agree to pay an unknown amount of "DUTY" Which they (the people who left the card out of the box) will reimburse me later By paypal where I have no account. So I don't know if I will EVER get this card. So I don't know if I will ever be able to pint parts. I am referring to theiir "Customer Support" as the "Elegoo Comedy Team" going forward.
