I’m in love with this resin due to its consistency and affordability. It’s my go to from miniatures to terrain to statues. I’ve gotten great prints off of it time and time again. That being said there are some drawbacks. The number one issue i have with the resin is its brittleness. Now for the most part if you work out the balance between washing and curing. it’s not that bad some minis bounce back without breaking, but having to mix it with other resins to get resilient minis does take away from the affordability. All in all if you want a bulk amount of resin without having to worry about inconsistency, all while not really caring about if you can throw your prints across the room and have them survive….this resin is for you.

I have a Sonic Mini 4k, and bought this grey resin to try out due to it's price point, and great print quality. First, I want to touch on great things about this resin, and why I use it pretty frequently. - The smell is pretty low. The smell itself is an inoffensive plastic-like scent, and is only really noticeable within about 10-15 feet of the printer. (I still have everything ventilated) - Print quality and detail is spectacular. No complaints in quality, every print came out looking very sharp, even when I heavily overexposed it. - Not that messy. The resin drips off of the build plate in about 10 minutes, and isn't very hard to clean in general. The low odor helps with this step a lot. Now to explain the 4 stars. After doing a few prints with this resin and really getting a feel for it, I can say that I do really like using this resin for a lot of reasons, but don't think this particular color is perfect for final prints you plan on giving as gifts, using in your table top games, or selling. The only issue with this resin is that it struggles to fully cure on the surface, and you can be left with a somewhat soft, almost rubbery feeling print, even after extensive curing that slightly discolored the grey print. I have read that you can avoid this by curing your parts while they are submerged in water, but I haven't personally tested this. In contrast, the Elegoo translucent resin has a great, hard surface finish that I was expecting from the grey. In conclusion, if you're looking for a great go-to resin for testing out your own designs, prototyping products, or to practice printing, this is a great, cost effective resin, that I enjoy using. If you plan on making gifts or playing with these figures, you might have better luck using a different color (As I said, the translucent has a great finish, but does yellow easily)

This resin was the first I ever used. Lychee Slicer had default settings for this type of resin and it worked really well. Later I decided to experiment and increased layer height to 100um from 50um without changing anything else and it worked perfectly! I use this settings to get something printed very quickly. I've just completed a print of a custom bracket for my joystick. With these express settings I was able to get it done on Anycubic Mono X printer in about 3.5h! It is 110mm in height, btw. So normally it would be 8+h print. The only complain about this white resin is that it is not really white. It changes color during the final cure to yellow-ish. Otherwise it is very well balanced resin. I also bought *black* ELEGOO 3D Rapid resin. And my experience was completely opposite. With default settings it worked but the print was very brittle and extremely sensitive to small scratches. And what worse is that some resin cured and stuck to FEP outside the build area. Thus I was not able to do consecutive prints. I had to drain resin from VAT through filter first and clean the VAT. My guess is that default profile Lychee slicer has is off. "Rapid" trick I used with white resin didn't work with black resin and caused a failed print.

This is by far the best resin I've used! I always get super sharp and clear prints, and I haven't had any issues with curing or part durability. It does take longer to cure because it's not clear (so if you have a hollow part you have to make sure it's completely cleaned out and cured inside), but that's not a problem since I usually leave my prints in UV light for multiple hours.
