The lamp was very easy to assemble and looks great in my living room. It is not a very bright lamp to read by but I use it when I’m watching TV and I don’t want a bright light shining. The pricing for this lamp was a plus.

This lamp sits on a table between two armchairs. It’s tall enough that people in the chairs can see each other so it’s great for group gatherings, but slim that it doesn’t look oversized in our smallish space. The base is stable, and the lamp doesn’t lean (for the price I did wonder if that might become an issue over time). It’s functioned perfectly for a year now. The light it gives off is soft, definitely not a reading lamp, but perfect for this use. The light slightly penetrates the stem, giving it a bit of an ombré look when lit.
