Hey guys I don't normally write reviews for anything, but after about 3 years of gaming in a mesh-seat mesh-back general Office chair from Costco, I came to the realization of, "Why the hell have I been sitting in this (mesh chair) for all these years?" Day one - noticed instant lumbar support (although not the best) and more comfort which lead to more efficient blood circulation throughout my body. Had about a 6 hour game session without my hands or feet falling 'asleep.' Old chair I'd be lucky if my feet weren't 'asleep' within 30 minutes. Few weeks - Back pain i didn't even know existed is now gone. Still very comfortable. Highly recommend this chair. Very affordable and there aren't many more options as comfy for $160. ... show more

I am not sure why there are so many negative reviews for this chair. I can tell though the manufacturer must have taken into consideration the complaints as the box was redesigned from previous pictures. It now come in a study plain brown reinforced box with nice and study plastic grip handles. All cushions were bubble wrapped and the loose components were in a smaller box inside. The assembly video is simple to follow but it does come with basic instructions as well. The chair is quite comfortable and simple to adjust. The only down thing for me is that I am over six feet in height and the neck pillow has to be connected at the very top of the chair and can simply slide off if I adjust myself if I am slouching. It is not enough to remove any rating stars though. I will just enable a fix and loop setup to not it allow to slide off. I look forward to many gaming hours in it. ... show more

If you're worried about it coming in damaged. DON'T. It is very well packaged Every single piece of the chair is wrapped in bubbles wrap and separated by foam sheets and cardboard. It feels extremely sturdy and heavy duty. You will not feel like this thing is going to crumble beneath your weight. I panicked when I first got it because I didn't see any instructions, so I watched the video to assemble it on the product page on Amazon. Simple, easy, quick, childproof. It's rediculiousky effortless to assemble. One person can do it in 20 minutes. Maybe less if you're not stopping and rewinding the assembly video. It even comes with spare parts in case you lose any. I did find the instructions later when I was cleaning up. Again ... If you've ever built anything before this is not a challenge to assemble. The levers will lock the tilt of the chair to where you'd like. The arms sit too low for my comfort and they're not adjustable in height. The foot rest is interesting but I'm not likely to use it. The seat is wide, like advertised and won't be pinching your thighs if you're a wide person, which I am... My hips don't lie. Not a fan of the pillow for the head but the lumbar support is comfy. I'll probably get something not so soft. That's my person preference. Overall, really satisfied with this product as a whole. Don't regret buying it. May buy another for Player 2. ... show more

I was on the fence about buying this chair. Having looked around Amazon for months, I was going back and forth between several but ultimately decided to give this one a try. For starters, I'm 5'11 and about 240lbs. This chair fits me with room to spare. The reclining aspect is very nice, the cushion-although a little stiff at first-is beginning to settle in and soften up a bit, and the footrest is a nice added touch. I use the footrest quite often when I'm writing/typing and I haven't seen any flex in it. I find the chair to be comfortable but admittedly, haven't sat in the chair for more than an hour or two. Longer durations may lead to a classic butt-ache but seriously, you shouldn't be sitting for that long without getting up and moving around a bit anyways! The reclining back locks firmly in place and the casters seem solid enough. I'm using a chair mat on carpet and so far, no issues. Although I like the chair, my wife does not. She's smaller (about 5'4") and her feet don't touch the ground. But I chalk that up to short people problems. :) Assembly was pretty straight forward although I did have a bit of trouble getting the armrests properly in place. Even now, there's a bit of flex in the arm rests when I use them to stand up (I have bad knees...give me a break) so I will update if anything changes in the condition of the armrests. Overall, I'm very happy with the chair. The quality is good, it's comfortable and it offers great support. Although it comes with a headrest and lumbar support pillows which strap in place so they don't slide around, I took them both off. Personal taste, though and to each their own. If you're looking for a good quality chair for moderate use, I think this has been a great investment for me and it will be for you too. ... show more

The only thing that was unexpected was that the armrest do not fold up but instead keeps the arms level while you lean back in the chair. Very comfortable and easy to set up. Update: One month into owning the chair, the bracket that holds the retractable footrest broke. It's literally a piece of plastic that houses the bars that retract the footrest. Update 2: After two months of owning the chair and not using it due to my first update, the locking mechanism broke. Again, the chair was not being used for at least three weeks. Love this, love this, love this! This is the best gaming chair I’ve owned and I’ve been a hardcore gamer since I was 9. What I love most about this chair is the foot rest! I didn’t think I was going to use it often, but I do every single time. Gaming with my feet up and chair reclined. Ohhh yeahhhh. Sometimes I even read my book In this chair rather than going on the couch. It is insanely comfy. Easy enough to put together. One screw stripped so I had to improvise with another screw that I had in my tool chest.
