Great value for the money! I am an experienced guitar player. I wanted to try a uke but didn't want to spend a lot. This little uke fills the bill perfectly. Great sound, great look, and it comes with lots of extras including a much better case than I expected . If you are used to playing a fretted stringed instrument, you will notice that the ends of the frets are a bit sharp. This is not a flaw but something that wasn't finished at the factory. If they had done it, the uke would cost more. Time is money. You can take care of this yourself. Just get a metal file and CAREFULLY file down the ends of the frets to your liking. I would also recommend you apply a quality wood oil to the finish. Do NOT use a waxy furniture polish! I can't see why this little baby won't last for years with proper care. Happy playing!

First of all, this Uke is beautiful. I love the cutaway, the pretty headstock. The contrast of the dark neck against the light sapele body. It has front and side fret markers. Some nice detailed designs like the rosette, the logo on headstock and fret. Then, you have all the accessories you need. There’s an extra tuner. You’re probably not gonna need it because it has a built in tuner since it’s an electro acoustic. It has strap button installed at the bottom and they also provide you with a pretty strap. There’s extra strings, cleaning cloth, gig bag, and picks. I have only played it a little bit, so the strings are still settling. But so far, it rings clearly, nice projection, and decent sustain. No sharp frets at all. The action is ok at 2mm at 1st fret and 3.5mm on the 12th. But for something out of the box, that is not bad. Even the most expensive ukes still need to be set up, so I’m not expecting a perfect set up on a $75 Uke. And set up is something that is personal. So it’s up to you to have this done according to your liking. So for me, overall this Uke is a very good deal for your money.

The media could not be loaded. This is a sleek looking ukulele that has a nice punch. The sound is crisp and clear. The back of the ukulele is slightly round. The body has a nice cutaway making it is very easy to reach the higher frets. Fret markers on the side of the neck. I am in love with the headstock. Sporty like an electric guitar. This is an acoustic-electric ukulele that comes equipped with a built in tuner, an EQ and a jack to plug in a guitar cable to play amplified. Suitable for adults and beginners. Definitely a great value for the money. Also included: - a padded gig bag - a clip on ukulele/guitar tuner (battery included) - a fun, colorful geometric pattern guitar strap - guitar picks - an extra set of strings - a polishing cloth

The media could not be loaded. So I've been pretty pleased with the sound and the feel of this ukulele! Because of its sapele wood and the rounded back, it has a pretty warm and rich tone. It holds its tuning quite well even though I just got it recently. Lots of friends have commented on the beautiful cutaway and the shape of the headstock! I've really enjoyed playing it so far. The tuning pegs are pretty solid too. The additional bag, tuner, strap, extra strings, cleaning cloth, and picks are also great perks! Good bang for your buck! :)

I ordered list item based on the pictures that show it has the built in tuner with bass, mid and hi controls- the item came without the advertised electronics - what arrived had a volume and tone controls- what is worse that when I plugged it into a Fishman Model G preamp even with all volume controls at full, there was barely any signal - not enough to be useable- so I returned it with comments as to why it was unacceptable- I received the replacement and it had the sale controls as the one I returned - the replacement also did not have a useable output - I returned the replacement as well - I also purchase an Eastroc tenor ukulele with the same electronics as advertised by Vanphy for the concert ukuleles I returned - the Eastroc tenor has great output and plays well- the vanphy ukuleles came with an Eastroc tag Other then the unusable pickup and controls- the vanphy concert ukulele looks amazing, is well built with great fit and finish and it plays well and sounds great acoustically - if I could get this vanphy concert ukulele with the pickup and controls as advertised - the same system as the Eastroc tenor I bought - I would buy the vanphy otherwise forget about the vanphy if you desire to plug it in
