I bought the VOCIC AY06 transport chair to help my 91 year old mom get around the house. This chair is the best out there. We love this chair. My 91 year old mother love this chair. So much easier getting her up out of bed and getting her into the living room or bathroom or wherever. No more pulling and yanking her up to get into a wheelchair. This chair does all the work, you just press the knob and it lifts her in the seat and places her wherever you want and you can move her anywhere in the house and place her anywhere in the house. Make sure to keep it on the charger when you are not using it. You have to get the electric model as I did, so when lifting you just press the knob otherwise if you don't get the electric lift you will have to do it manually. This chair was worth every penny, it has made both of our lives so much easier. I highly recommend this chair, you don't have to worry of injuring your mom and injuring yourself when lifting, the chair takes all that worry away as this chair does all the heavy lifting. If you have an elderly parent who no longer can walk, get this Vocic AY06, it is sturdy, safe, easy to use and enables our parents to stay living at home. You can look at the videos online on how to use and see how it works. We as family members love this chair and my mom loves it as well. We use this chair all the time when we need to move mom from bed, to chairs, to recliners, to bathrooms, just about anywhere in the house. My only grip would be, no where on the paperwork or brochere that came with the chair says anything about where to order parts, lets see you need a new power adapter or you want to keep an extra sling handy in case anything happens to the sling or a wheel breaks or a belt buckle, nowhere does it say where to order parts or a phone number to call, so that's the only thing I didn't like. I reached out to customer support and when you need to order a part you e-mail Vocic customer service and they send you a link to order the part you want, so you can order parts its just having to call customer service to find out all about that when they could have easily put in the product info pamphlet that came with the chair with all the instruction and details about the chair besides that I think its an EXCELLENT PRODUCT!     • I have a problem with the internal mechanism
I have ALS and no movement in my lower extremities. I purchased the chair to be able to be placed chairs or over the toilet. The hardest part was trying to figure out how to get on the pad so they could be hooked up to the lift. The easiest way is to be pulled to the foot of my bed and rolled back-and-forth, putting half of the pad under each half of me, then strapping the pad into the lift and the legs do not automatically open up. Also, there is no way to contact the manufacturer for extra parts or if you have a problem? I have a problem with the internal mechanism that raises the chair, but Amazon told us they would contact seller but then informed us that we would need to contact the manufacturer for the one year warranty. But they couldn’t tell us who the manufacturer was so the one year warranty is nonexistent. ... show more
