It costs me $155 to have a plumber come to unclog my commode. I had to call them almost once per month. This cost less than $100 + tax. I've only needed to use it once in the several months that I've had it. Even if I never use it again, it saved me $55 for not calling a plumber. It has paid for itself. It is very easy to put it together, build up enough pressure (fast!), and pull the trigger to release the pressure and push the clog away. Once you learn how to put it together and fire up the pressure, you won't need the instruction manual again; it is that easy. It takes less than 5 minutes from start to stop. I do not have a lot of arm and hand strength due to a neurological illness. This requires minimal strength to assemble and pull the pressure trigger. I cannot say enough good about this!! It also has attachments to enable the device to unclog sinks and a walk-in shower drain, as well as a basement drain. NOTE: When I first looked at the bulb end of the device, through which the pressurized air passes, it looked like the tip of the bulb is completely closed, where no air could pass. There are minuscule holes through which the air does pass.

So happy I finally found this. Works really great unstopping toilets. Was using one with CO2 capsules, while it worked it also had blowback. Not pleasant at all. When I first used this I didn't think it worked. Had a towel over the bowl (blowback from CO2 one taught a lesson) and didn't hear a thing when I pulled the trigger. No sudden explosion of air or violent toilet water. Removed the towel and the plunger, pressed the flush handle and whoosh, stoppage cleared. This plunger works extremely well. Seems it is a two stage device. Stick the head down the toilet until it stops, press the trigger. First the bulb expands to completely fill the trap then a jet of air pushes the stoppage through the system. The process is very quiet. The process of filling the device with air via battery is not quiet. But what do you expect? It is creating its own compressed air. Makes it an air compressor, and they ain't quiet. But it only takes a minute or so to get the air you need, so no worries. Just don't use it without letting family members know there is about to be a bit of noise (mechanical type) issuing from the bathroom. If you get a stopped up toilet, you will be very glad if you have one of these.

It's a well-built piece of equipment and operates the way it's supposed to. Unfortunately it hasn't solved my problem. I used it on our slow-flushing toilet, which must have scale built up just beyond what I can reach. I'd hoped that this would blast some of this away. But it didn't. Had no effect on it. It's meant for full clogs, and that's not what I had.

I bought my unit last June 2022. I live in Canada where it’s not available. It started to develop an issue, so I contacted the supplier as it comes with a 2-year warranty. But would they take care of me? I am very happy to report they sure did! Sent me a brand new one. Paid the shipping, the duty/taxes, really stepped up to plate. I noticed now there are a few vendors that appear to be selling similar plungers, but I am here to support this one and vouch they stand behind what they sell. Good stuff! I moved to a new house in late 2021 and though the toilets were not old, fairly new, they clogged up easily. Option was to replace them, or find a solution like this. I tried several others including an auger ( works but not ( convenient ) the one with loading co2 cylinders, works but cylinder replacements are costly, to ones that did nothing. This for me is the best solution and the easiest to use. For me is works about 75% on 1st attempt, if not 2nd attempt. No splash. I am 71, back problems, so need something that is easy, convenient, and most of all does what it is supposed to do. It does. Again, special thanks to the customer service person who handled my situation who responded to all my messages so promptly including checking to see if I received the replacement warranty unit sent.

Worked great! Make sure not to over pressurize it. I have plastic drains so not sure how much pressure they can stand repeatedly. It definitely is better then a simple plunger but of course your paying more but not as much as having a plumber cone out and clear the drain.

So I purchased this and a great case scenario happened right away. Someone in my household bowel caused the toilet to be choked. I opened the box, read the instructions and put the item together. First off, it's very loud when the power is turned on and when the button is pressed to release the pressure, you hear it loudly as well. At first I figured I may have been using it wrong given that I applied pressure and released it 5x. Then allowed the tool to sit, while I boiled hot water on the stove. I went back in for the second time. Nothing really changed with the exception of every time I flush the poop water dissipates. I waited a while since the instructions says not to use more than 9x times. I tried again and still no luck, I'm pushing nearly an hour at this point and my toilet is still choked. So honestly, I purchased this thinking it would be quicker than using a plunger but it just about the same amount of work. I actually took out my plunger and started using it to unclog my toilet.
