Works well for a plug in model. Powerful and lightweight. Turn on sequence needed to make it run, but it's illustrated on the handle to reduce confusion. Motor, transmission , and tiller blades are reasonably heavy duty. I'd like a little heavier duty wheels but they seem to work fine. This tiller is recommended. Easy to assemble.

Works much better than the $400 tiller my husband bought. We have clay dirt rather than dirt dirt (for lack of a better description haha) as well as there are millions of rocks inside the dirt so any tiller MUST be power fullpp. The $400 one literally did not work whatsoever. It sits next to our shed NEVER ONCE used. I knew this one would have the same result however I preplanned and soaked the yard for about a week before even receiving this one from Amazon. It really really worked. And still the expensive one didn’t do a thing. I had to go over the areas three times in some spots and twice in most spots to get my desired result but that is NOT because of the tiller, it’s the clay. The fact that it dug into the dirt at all was a miracle!! And it didn’t take long at all. The reason I gave it three stars though is because it literally spits ALL dirt,rock, grass, weeds, (whatever you’re tilling) backwards on you. You will get completely covered with everything in your yard. I had to change into jeans, knee high socks and high rubber work boots as well as had to wear eye protection because it spit dirt in my eyes twice before grabbing them. Even with the high rubber boots on the tiller still spit the debris high enough to fill my boots. That was a very unpleasant experience. However, I am so grateful that this tiller ACTUALLY TILLS that I will take the bad with the good. Now, if you aren’t like me and have normal dirt like the rest of the world you more than likely will not have to soak your yard or do any prep work. I feel like this tiller would dig nicely into a normal yard. Oh! Also! It’s really easy to control. I am 5’5” and 107 pounds and I had no problems controlling it. I do wish it was maybe a little bit shorter or could be adjusted to become shorter as I find the hand bar to be pretty tall for a shorty like me. But that’s just not picking now. I say if you’re on the fence BUY IT!! It’s worth it.

Made in China. Light weight, worked well for the wife, plenty of power for the job it was used for. Had to return the first unit we received because it was missing 4 small but critical parts. Return was successful with aid of customer service.

Value for money: This tiller is MUCH better than I expected. We have dense, clay soil with river rocks mixed in, and it tore right through it. It definitely sprays the soil a lot, so wear old clothes, closed-toe shoes, and perhaps long pants to protect your legs from anything mixed in with the soil the tiller is working through. Seriously though, this thing makes quick work of loosening soil before planting!

I used to always put off tilling because small motors suck, especially after they've sat around since last Spring. I've been converting all my small stuff to electric - blowers, weed eaters, tillers, and have no regrets. This thing is awesome. Very important that it's corded though - no way you could get much power out of something running off a battery, and the cord doesn't get in the way at all. Has a clip to keep the plug end in-tow, so with just a little self-awareness it's not a problem. This thing tears through all but the hardest dirt, roots, small gravel, and grass mat. I've turned multiple areas in my yard into a planting bed just by picking a patch and letting this thing eat. Takes a couple passes, but in no time it's a workable soil ready for planting. And you can't beat the convenience of rolling it out, plugging it up, and it firing up every single time without any adjustment or cleaning or anything. Highly recommend
