I realize I'm coming dangerously close to fulfilling the old "I'm turning into my parents" trope, but I'm starting to appreciate how wasteful it is to heat up an entire house when you're doing ninety percent of your living in two or three rooms. I guess getting this is a start towards being more conscientious about getting heating costs under control. Unfortunately, I think I'm going to need more than just this heater to fill my needs. The best thing about this heater is its compact size and light weight. It’s very easy to pick up and move from room to room; it even has a built-in carrying handle that you can grab onto. It starts emitting heat immediately, unlike old-school space heaters, which were like inside-out toasters, with wires that needed a while to heat up. The problem for me (and it makes me question if maybe the unit I got is a lemon since I've seen a number of positive reviews) is that, even at the highest of the three settings, it just doesn't get that hot. It feels more like a "warmer" than a "heater." I guess the bottom line is not to have unreasonable expectations of its capability. In a smaller room, say a bathroom, or if positioned in close proximity to someone/something, it will work well; but if you’re expecting it to heat up a large room in a reasonably short amount of time, you may be disappointed. It’ll get there eventually, I guess, but it can’t defy the laws of thermodynamics and do it fast. It just doesn’t put out a sufficient volume of heat. The thermostat mode (which for some reason is called "ECO Mode" in the manual) is handy, although, again, depending on the environment and your settings, the heater may struggle to ever actually reach the target heat. When setting the thermostat (ECO), you can view the target temperature you desire on the display, but it would also be nice if the display would also show the current/ambient temperature of the room as well. I know it's not the primary function, but they describe a fan only mode (or "Natural Wind" as it's called in the manual), but using it puts out less of a breeze than one of those fans you stick in a desktop computer chassis to cool off the motherboard. It's a nice idea to make it not just a heater, but an "all-season" appliance; however, the cooling function aspect just doesn't cut it. As far as I can tell, there's no way to have heat without the fan operating, and at the highest level, it's about as loud as a box fan. It’s the kind of white noise that fades into the background for me, but it may be annoying to somebody who wants absolute silence. The included remote is handy, but I found that it was a little fidgety and required deliberate line-of-sight aiming to get it to work consistently. Unlike the buttons on the heater itself, the function buttons on the remote are only labelled with icons, not text. There aren’t a lot of buttons, and the icons are easy to figure out, but they might cause issues with someone elderly or with cognitive problems.

While this is my first heater of this brand it’s not 2nd ceramic heater this size and shape I can’t say enough good things about them. They put out lots of heat. Snsll size. And good price. My old one lasted years. I hope this one does too. I will report back if not

This little heater is really great. It does a good job of heating your space quickly with minimal noise. I especially like the eco-saver feature where I can leave it on and it will turn itself off when the ambient temperature is reached.
