These little things kick out some good heat. In our frigid central Florida winters (ahem), these come in handy to heat up a space when temps drop way down into the 40's. ( I'm from Ohio so... ;-) ) I have two of these. They are quiet, use as little power as possible and just plain work like they should. Since they are only 500watts, I don't have to worry about popping a breaker when other stuff is on same circuit. For the price, c'mon man, these are a no brainer.

Small but mighty. This is so small but it will heat up a bedroom like a sauna. I really couldnt believe how much heat it puts out. It will warm up a 12 x 14 room in a short period of time. I've had for a few months and have been using it daily with no issues.

This was a personnel purchase. The quality is good, it is very compact, has a tip over shutoff and over heat shut off. At only 1000 watts I used it at a rental house in denver in my bedroom in April. Fit in my suite case carry on. The airflow is good, I use it on my desk at work now. They keep the AC 68 degrees, in my office, too cold for my fingers. This thing keeps my personnel area warm in my office. My hands do not get cold, on the low setting and the rest of me is warm on the high setting. For the size I am impressed. Has good safety features built in, must be on a solid flat surface. I would buy this on again. If the cord was a foot longer I would give a 4.5 or 5 star rating. It is very lite.

Pros: Heats well. Shuts off automatically like stated. Small size suitable for a desk. Cons: Noisy. The fan is pretty loud for such a small heater. Also, it gives off a chemical smell. Hopefully it goes away with a few uses but if not, I'll be throwing it away due to that reason. No way to adjust power. I may have overlooked that in the description, but you can only turn it off and on.
