These little things kick out some good heat. In our frigid central Florida winters (ahem), these come in handy to heat up a space when temps drop way down into the 40's. ( I'm from Ohio so... ;-) ) I have two of these. They are quiet, use as little power as possible and just plain work like they should. Since they are only 500watts, I don't have to worry about popping a breaker when other stuff is on same circuit. For the price, c'mon man, these are a no brainer.

I was looking for a space heater I could keep on my desk that wouldn’t take up too much space space, wouldn’t be too loud but would still give enough heat to actually do what I needed it to do. This was absolutely perfect. The small, sleek, simple design doesn’t take up a huge amount of space on my desk and it is perfect when I need to turn it on. This was a personnel purchase. The quality is good, it is very compact, has a tip over shutoff and over heat shut off. At only 1000 watts I used it at a rental house in denver in my bedroom in April. Fit in my suite case carry on. The airflow is good, I use it on my desk at work now. They keep the AC 68 degrees, in my office, too cold for my fingers. This thing keeps my personnel area warm in my office. My hands do not get cold, on the low setting and the rest of me is warm on the high setting. For the size I am impressed. Has good safety features built in, must be on a solid flat surface. I would buy this on again. If the cord was a foot longer I would give a 4.5 or 5 star rating. It is very lite.

The 500 watt power draw is perfect for heating a small living room or bedroom. My old space heater used a minimum of 900 watts and really spiked my energy bill. I have used this heater for over 3000+ hours and still works as good as new and is still quiet as the day I bought it.

Pros: Heats well. Shuts off automatically like stated. Small size suitable for a desk. Cons: Noisy. The fan is pretty loud for such a small heater. Also, it gives off a chemical smell. Hopefully it goes away with a few uses but if not, I'll be throwing it away due to that reason. No way to adjust power. I may have overlooked that in the description, but you can only turn it off and on.

If you are thinking of purchasing a low wattage heater this is the one. I purchased 5 different 500 watt heaters and this is by far the best. It put out the most heat and you can feel the heat further away than any of the others. I purchased the amazon brand , another from Amazon, and Walmart brand and one other from them. I wanted the best . I am keeping this one and sending the rest back .
