I just received this scooter, and I'm already in love. The unboxing was straightforward, and it came with a decent charge. First Impressions: It feels sturdy and well-built. The black finish looks sleek and professional. I was worried about the solid tires, but after riding on city sidewalks and some slightly rougher paths, I can say the ride is surprisingly smooth. The deck is nice and wide for my feet. Performance: The 500W motor has plenty of zip! I easily hit the top speed on a bike path, and it handled a moderate hill on my way home without slowing down much. The dual brakes are very responsive and make me feel safe. Portability: The folding mechanism is genius. It took me seconds to figure out, and I was able to store it in my trunk effortlessly. For the price, this seems like an incredible value. I bought this item for my son. He was super excited to receive it, and was happy to have an additional form of transportation. Upon initial use, it got up to 18mph. Now, after only 8 days, we are experiencing some issues with the scooter. It is only getting up to 10mph, which is very slow, compared to 18mph it was previously doing. We contacted Amazon support line. The representative tried trouble shooting to help resolve the issue, but after going through all the steps as instructed, it only got up to 11mph. Yesterday it got up to 14mph, but drop back to 10mph. My son is very disappointed, and his initial excitement has diminished. Now on the hunt for something more reliable. After 8 days, we should not be experiencing issues already. ... show more

Nice scooter. The handle bars a little wiggly and it on goes 19 mph max not the 24 mph as it states. But for as much money as I paid I expected faster. But all and all it's a nice toy to spend with the kids with theirs.
