After 4 months. Scooter seemed ok, to run errands around neighborhood. Average speed 17 mph. For me is fast enough . Uphill is a different story. The heavier you are the slower it is. Seem to kill battery quicker if you do to many hills. I think for the price it's worth it EXCEPT FOR THE BATTERY CHARGER, SUDDENLY BROKE AT THE WIRE CONNECTOR TO BIKE PLUG. ON FOURTH MONTH. Trying to get a replacement, but can't figure out which one to order. It don't give you info on it and website for the company link don't work at all. ... show more

The scooter was very easy to assemble and folds down nicely. I am able to take it on a rail trail nearby with small gravel chips with no problem. For the quality of the scooter we have a local rail trail that is relatively flat so I would have expected that the scooter could go 16 miles as advertised. It does not and the battery is dead after 6 miles. The description also states that it can reach speeds of 19 mph. The speed is not achieved even going downhill. The max speed that I have achieved is 14 mph. Mainly disappointed in the lack of battery life BUT with the cost of the scooter this should not have been surprising. It may be that the battery overheats because if I turn the scooter off for a few minutes I will gain a bar back in the battery life. It is fun and due to speed very safe. Its heavy to carry but easily rolls beside me when I am walking beside it. UPDATE: The company actually offered to send me another battery due to the poor batter charge- waiting on the delivery from them and will see if the replacement improves the problem. If it does will come back and let you know and improve ratings as well. There is value in good customer service !!! ... show more
