I travel a lot to different state and national parks and getting around can sometimes be a long walk even to the bathroom. I recently took this on a trip to AL and it worked great. I was camping in the primitive campgrounds and had a lot of friends who were camping in the RV spots. This made getting around a breeze. It had no problem at all navigating over different terrains from hard gravel drives to dirt roads to grass to pavement. It just handled it all like a champ. It has 3 speeds/modes from Eco which is the slowest setting, then D (for drive?) to S (for Sport), each offering more power. It tops off at 19MPH in Sport (S) Mode! That's pretty darn quick for a scooter. The scooter is very well built. It has a nice disc brake on the rear to connected to a hand brake on the left handle bar, make stopping quick and easy. The rubber tires are inflatable and come with an extra inner tube. The handle bars have nice rubber handles for good grip and there's also a little bell to let people know you're there. It also features turn signals and a brake light. The handle bars fold down and lock onto the rear flap via the clip on the handle bars for easy and compact storage/travel. The included handle bar bag was very useful for holding my charger, spare inner tube and other accessories. It has quite a bit of room to fit stuff in. Charging is about 4 hours from empty to full. I was even able to charge it off of a 12V battery with an inverter when I was away from 120V. Battery life is good, but I didn't experience the 15-18 mile range they advertise. I think I got about half of that. Good thing I kept the charger in the handle bar bag because I found I was using it a lot. It does have good acceleration but even slight hills are enough to slow it down. Up small hills it would only go about 7MPH. The scooter is controlled by one button on the handle bars. Long push to turn it on. It defaults into manual mode which is kind of annoying. Then you double press the button for Eco, again for D, and again for S. Single press turns on the headlight which is very convenient to have. It also has cruise control that can be turned on and off by either a 3 or 4 press of the button (I can't remember which) that will engage after about 30 seconds of holding down the throttle button. I found this very useful during longer trips around the park. The control screen also shows you your battery level with a 5 bar readout as well as your speed in MPH or KPH. Overall, I am very happy with the quality of this scooter and will be bringing it on every one of my travels. It's just so handy to have.
