Love this. Very easy to put together. My cats love it. I have gotten 3 of them over time. Perfect height for my cats. I place my up against a wall, with the 2 stoppers on top and the 4-rubber silicone grips on the bottom it keeps it in place. But if the cat is having a Zombie Day and wants to make it rock and roll, they will be able to move it from the wall a little. It is sturdy, from kitten to cat. We adopted a new cat recently, and she came in pretty anxious and unsure of everything. I was hoping this would give her a good place to scratch, but it ended up being her new favorite spot to sleep, as well. She took to this almost right away. The L shape seems to make her feel tucked in and secure, so she uses it for scratching, lounging, and just hanging out. It kind of became her little safe spot in the house, and I really do think it helped her settle in. Seeing her stretched out on it and acting relaxed for the first time was a big deal. She's asleep on it right now! It also seems sturdy for cardboard, and it’s a nice size. I like that it gives them both a vertical and horizontal surface to use, because cats can be weirdly specific about that. The little ball toy is a cute extra too. This helped turn a nervous newly adopted cat into a comfy, affectionate member of the family, and that makes this one feel extra special. 🥹 ... show more

I bought one of these when I first got my cat a year ago, and he used it several times a day since. I have bought 4 of these and placed them in areas where he has tried to claw up furniture and he always goes for these instead now instead. Definitely worth the price to save my furniture and he gets the benefits of scratching and cleaning his claws. There's a few different heights, my cat is pretty medium sized and the 33inch version is best for him as he can stretch his arms out while scratching and he clearly likes doing that. They're fairly durable, but shred over time so you need to vacuum or sweep up the little cardboard flakes that come off. Not a big deal to me. Definitely recommend this if your cat doesn't like regular scratching post type scratchers. ... show more

my sweet precious baby has a very bad habit of scratching my couch (honestly it’s my fault that i didn’t get this sooner), but this has helped SO much!! he was hesitant to use it at first, but he loves laying on and scratching it! i contemplated keeping the ball out but ultimately just left it in, he plays with it sometimes. the reason im giving it 4 stars is because while incredibly easy to put together, trying to figure out how to align the L shape so the ball wouldn’t slip out wasn’t super great, and it did have a bit of a weird smell when taken out of the box. either i’m used to it by now or it’s gone, but i just wasn’t expecting it. overall, i think this is a great investment for any cat who scratches furniture or just likes cardboard in general! ... show more
