I’m really happy with this scooter! The build quality is solid and feels premium. It rides very smoothly, even on slightly rough floors, and the acceleration is quick but stable. The deck is wide and comfortable to stand on, and the braking is responsive. Battery life is also impressive — I can ride for quite a while before needing to charge. Overall, it’s a great value for the price and perfect for commuting or casual rides. Highly recommended! ... show more

  • A good scooter
Style: RS300-650W-19 MPH
It’s a solid scooter, fast and stable. The handlebars see a bit high but not an issue. Overall it’s a very good product. A little heavy to carry on/off a bus or train but great if you’re using it to get to the final destination.

  • Great scooter
Style: RS300-650W-19 MPH
The media could not be loaded. I bought this for myself as 5’11 240lb guy. It handles great has plenty of power and consistently hits the 19mph. The handle bars are tall but as you can see my 9 yr old handles it just fine, that’s how stable and smooth it is. I would definitely purchase again.

  • Robust Features and a Strong, Smooth Ride but Quality Quickly Deteriorates
Style: RS300-650W-19 MPH
Hi everyone. The seller's staff requested I do a review. I warned them that it wouldn't be a perfect 5 star review and I asked if they were sure, but they still wanted it so here goes... I can be long-winded, or, Detailed, so I'll break things up into sections to help with clarity. Firstly, I want to let you know I've had the scooter for about 2-3 months and I use it almost daily. It doesnt rain much here, so I was trying to use a scooter to go to and from work instead of paying a bunch of fees to reolace my previous car. Price/Value: I bought it for around $260 during an Amazon.com Black Friday sale. I really felt like $300 or $400 was too much to spend so the $260 was pretty much my max. It's a GREAT scooter when it first arrives but given the problems I have faced with the scooter and the amount of back and forth messaging for getting assistance, I have to say what I paid is the max I'd suggest you pay if you are pretty frugal and saving up for future endeavors like me. I feel like the reliability isn't there to justify a proce of $300+. Perhaps my experience was a 1 in a million but I doubt it. I had similar problems with another Chinese brand called Caroma. But both of these scooters had mostly good reviews. My guess is that lots of people are reviewing in their first few days of ownership. The glitches show up within weeks but not necessarily on day 1. Reliability/Glitches: I bought this because it advertised a long battery life, good speed (I wanted around 10 or 15 mph and it did 18-19 mph and I'm a 5'5" woman weighing approximately 165), had a really cool design with the very tasteful and futuristic glowing lights along the side, and larger tires so that encountering bumps wouldn't throw me off of the scooter (I was never thrown off of my previous scooter due to bumps but almost, so I had to be very cautious and slow down and walk it over uneven areas of the sidewalk. Yes, I use the sidewalk. I'm not riding with cars coming up behind me unseen and trusting not a single one would ever hit me. I use the road if it's empty or nearly empty but otherwise I use the sidewalk and I DISMOUNT and walk the scooter or I scoot with 1 leg down if there are pedestrians in the distance. I dont think there needs to be a problem sharing sidewalks. People should just be aware and courteous, imo. Anyway, I go exactly 4 miles to work and 4 miles to go home. So, 8 miles most days of the week. For the first 3 weeks or so the performance was Amazing and I was getting home with half the battery life (half of the glowing bars) still remaining. Which theoretically should mean it was providing me with almost 16 miles per charge. But I always charged it up when I arrived home, so I can't say what the exact battery life/distance would have been if I used it up completely. Well, fast forward to week 3 or 4 and I saw an E symbol pop up and the scooter slowed down for just a moment but didnt shut off and didnt THROW me off like the Caroma scooter did when it had weird glitches. But the E symbol and a wrench symbol showed up again about 2 weeks after that and that time it DID shut down but immediately restarted on it's own. However, it took my 3 bars down to ONE (it starts with about 6 bars and I was nearly home). Upon restarting only ONE bar showed up. Nonsense. So at that point I told their customer service about the issue. From that pioiny of it has fluctuated between giving me 1-3 bars upon my arriving home. Yesterday I came on having to manually scoot myself for maybe half a mile because it was at 1 bar and the energy was inconsistent (stronger for some seconds and then weaker). But I DO appreciate that this scooter never threw me off during the glitches! Oh and the other problem is the back tire (it has very thick AIR TIRES which make for a VERY comfy cushioned ride...so much nicer than I expected) started losing air amd wobbling and thumping about 2 months into owning it. It does plump up after using the gas station air pump machine but then it's flat again within 6 or so hours (*Update: now it's not filling up even temporarily and I think the rubber inner tube or rubber connection point may have a leak in addition to the tire but I'm not sure. Staff are saying there is no rubber inner tube and that if I need anything more than the empty tire itself or the green tool which came with the scooter originally, I'll have to buy it at their website. They're saying they don't cover human error. I only used the scooter in a normal manner and I've only had it for 2 months. At least they sent me the tire). I use sidewalks and streets. I try to avoid hazards (broken glass, potholes, etc) so I feel like this problem occurred too soon. I will say even if the tire feels unsteady you CAN still ride it a short distance if necessary - for sure if you aren't heavier than me - because the tire is just so very firm. They pretty readily sent me a replacement tire which took about 5 days to arrive (they required that I send photos proving the flat). They only sent me the tire itself. So, hopefully the inner tube doesnt also need replacement. They didnt send me a tool for it, so I now have to try to find a tool that will fit the teeny tiny screws to I can remove the tire. No instructions were included but I found a Y.T. video detailing the replacement of a tire on a slightly different scooter. I asked the seller for the exact name of the tool or a photo of it and they sent me a photo so thats good but I feel like that should have already been done or a tool should have been included. They include a 3-sided metal tool with a green center with your original shipment but that only fits the slightly larger screws towards the handlebars or other non-tire areas. Why not include ALL tools needed if you know the scooter has air tires and you know you don't offer repairs? Hmmm...I think that's about it...the slowing down/E + wrench/battery life problem and the tire problem. Features: It has a fingerprint lock. Their app is sometimes glitchy and the their suggestions for resetting the login (uninstall, re-install, use 0's) didnt work. Luckily, I found an old screenshot of my code. So, remember your code, put it in a cryptic message to yourself, or screenshot it even if you set the app to auto-remember. NOTE: It arrives with an annoying (imo) loud beep you can hear with every button press but that can be turned OFF if you contact the seller and download a firmware update. It was quick and easy. I practically never use the bell (to avoid seeming pushy), but it has a loud cute sound which is not too piercing...almost identical to the Caroma scooter and other scooter bells I've heard on Y.T. videos. The turn signal lights work but I rarely use them. They turn off after about 10 seconds which I guess is good in case you forget to turn it off for a while. The handlebar area is not adjustable as far as I'm aware. It has a rubber coating so that's great. Height adjustment and fewer grooves in the rubber and softer squishier (? 😅) rubber would be a plus, but it's already great. The headlight is strong...stronger than the light on the skinny white $150 (+$50 shipping, so $200) Caroma scooter. But it has a narrow field so you can either focus the beam far ahead of you to see pedestrians, or turn it downwards to see the condition of the ground somewhat near you, but not both. I typically aim it so that I can see pedestrians, since the tires take care of me pretty well and I certainly wouldnt want to hurt anyone. But, I should be able to see both areas. So, I suggest adding an additional light although I have not as of yet. For the headlight, tap the uppermost button on the black pad just once. To start or stop the colorful lights, tap M on the black pad 3 times quickly. (I didn't know that at first. 😋) The kickstand works well. It has never tipped over. It does make a loud clack sound as you slide it in and out of positions, however. I thought the high handlebars would feel awkward but it actually feels totaly fine and not unnatural. However, I have been jabbed in the abdomen by the fold-up lock hook they have protruding out when I've had a hectic sudden stop or encountered a very crumpled sidewalk area. Seller/Customer Service: The seller spoke with me daily so that was good but if I asked 2 or 3 questions in 1 message, only 1 or 2 things were answered. So, I had to send yet another message a few times. I requested a discount due to the glitch/reduced battery life and at first I was only offered 5%. It was later increased but why only 5% in the beginning? I lived in China for a year before (there are ads for teaching English on CL. See the end of this review if you want more info). I know day to day expenses are extremely cheap in CN (it's all relative to one's income but I'm talking about compared to here and what $300 for a scooter can get them - 1 month's rent for a nice studio apartment - vs what we can buy if we get $300 over here). They can afford to give a bigger discount since they are already making a killing on us Americans and other buyers in the U.S.A. A-n-y-w-a-y, they soon offered a bigger discount, so, that was great. My options were 1) a discount and keep the scooter, 2) get an exchange if I return it but no further warranty or assistance for the new one, or 3) a full refund if I return it. But they kept saying something about they have to thoroughly inspect it to find the glitch after I return it. I wasn't sure if they were saying they may not give the refund if they somehow don't feel they found the glitch after it arrives at their warehouse or if they were only saying that as general info. Before that, they were wanting me to send a photo or video of the error code. They said it will be E10, E16 or E56 and I had to tell them multiple times thatbit only flashed for 1 or 2 seconds while I was riding it so it was impossible to have a photo or video of it. The re-asked me (different employees maybe) perhaps 3 times so that was annoying. As for the return, I don't have a car or local friends (nice acquaintances yes but not friends I'd ask a favor of) since I'm new to this city and the west coast in general. Given my circumstance, it would be hard for me to get the huge box to a shipping store. I guess I could have scootered myself to the store and THEN boxed it up. I didnt even think of that until just now...lol. But carrying the required "ginormous" original box would have been nearly impossible. (Make sure you keep the original box! I always do that until I'm sure-sure.) I had to ask 3 times if they would allow for pickup from my home. They finally answered me about it and said it was okay but not suggested. So, I opted to keep the scooter. Overall: This machine is robust, fun, and gives a powerful and comfortable ride. I love that the tires provide such a cushioned ride and keep me safe. I also love that it brakes in the rear not the front like the Caroma. So, it feels less hazardous. However, improvements need to be made in regards to reliability and problem resolution. It's a clear winner over cheaper scooters with tiny, unsafe hard tires. I'm awarding it 3.5 stars. Seller's customer service: 3 stars. Thank you. ☺️🫱🏼🫲🏻 About my visit to China...just some tips in case you want to visit, especially for work: I'll say the good and bad were both intense. I was elbowed very hard once in a while by a random passerby female to the point where I expected a bruise. That has never happened to me in the USA - nasty Americans usually attack with words or their cars and are rarely hands-on at random with no altercation, in my experience. So, yes, stop occasional Asian Hate, please. ❤️🩹 I give everyone respect and I should get the same in return. Only women attacked me, so I think it was partially about jealously. But most ppl were nice + social unlike in Tokyo, and Taipei was in between. Shanghai's weather is like DelMarVa, pretty nice. Shenzhen was hotter than Florida and rainy. I was told by a Chinese person from the north who was living in Shenzhen that they couldn't fully understand the locals because the language is too different and that surprised me. I think all Americans can understand one another although I had a little difficulty in Georgia since some of them string words together without fully pronouncing anything. But even then I could figure out what the person was basically saying. Wear a mask unless you want your full face photo in random ppl's phones and WeChat messages...also for pollution. Bring your own soap and tissue to restrooms. Some places provide these essentials in the restrooms but some do not. Download DD/Uber or else Shanghai taxis might charge you $15 vs less than $2 to go 2 miles. They may or may not allow luggage/turn you down and may already have personal stuff in their trunks. I always lift my own luggage so it wouldnt have been a hassle to give me a ride...if their trunks had enough space. Smaller cities' taxis were usually honest and it was easy to get a taxi in CN in general (unlike Medellín). I caught this 1 taxi to go to the major long-distance bus station. I showed the guy the Google translation and tried to show him the map as well but he wouldnt look at the map and he seemed to be insisting he knew where I wanted to go. I asked him 2 or 3 times what was price and he never answered me. Even if I'm not fluent in a foreign language, I make sure to get very familiar with the counting/money words (I caught incorrect change often in Medellín. Once per week. One time a woman kept $5 or so but they always cooperated and fixed it so I'm not convinced it was a scam but idk. One time it was in my favor by maybe $1 and he mixed it up with their coin worth our 5 cents somehow and those coins don't even look alike. I noticed immediately and returned it to him). The taxi driver took me to a small local bus station, not the huge station I needed to go to. After I told him that wasnt the correct place he took me back to my starting point. Ummm...okay. Why not try to take me to the correct place? I had been polite during the entire trip. I've driven for Uber before and I love customers like me. So, I didnt see a reason why he couldn't have just helped me adequately. Anyway, he told me the price and it very obviously was for BOTH the distance driving me to the wrong location and driving me back. Had it been a smaller fee I would have paid it but as it was, no. I told him via translation "You didnt take me to the destination. I can pay you a smaller fee. Why should I pay the full fee?" I'm frugal but fair and I'm typically pretty generous. I don't mind paying if an actual service was rendered. And I tend to tip even overseas to brighten someone's day. I'm just not okay with scams or obnoxious workers. He insisted on the full fare and I told him I wouldn't pay and he finally said okay, did a kind of "humph" sound, became silent and started driving in a focused manner as if taking me to some place he knew by heart...maybe a police station or just generally kidnapping me. I became scared. Luckily, there was a huge line of traffic just sitting in every lane for our side of the road. So, I maintained a calm appearance then quickly jumped out once he was at a complete stop. There was some sidewalk fence thing I also had to jump or bend under but I made it and luckily he didnt run after me. I never do something like that but hey he was basically scamming me plus kidnapping me. I had to do something similar 2 times at metro train stations, in CN and Colombia when there was basically a malfunction and I already paid but wasnt being let in and the workers were being rude as if maybe they didn't want to help a foreign person. I jumped the little metal turn bars but Ive never had to do that in the USA. The equipment either works properly or someone assists - even if they sometimes are not friendly they do assist. I think back and feel it would look bad if shown on a Y.T. video without the context but at least I know I was in the right. I did meet 1 nice really young Chinese metro worker woman who spoke almost fluent English - Rare - who helped me sign up for an electronic metro card and said I was a Cute American Girl. Hahahaha. But I hadn't done anything special (I was polite that's all) so she was just a sweetie. Back to the taxi story...thank God I didnt have luggage with me that time. He screwed himself over really. All he had to do was take me to the correct location, which is literally his job. I'm sure 98% of you guys agree. I'm very careful with my money so "just paying the guy" for nothing was not an option. Some toilets are squat and some are western but I like the squat vs feeling or wiping or covering pee droplets on seats or hovering then wiping the seat with tissue. The food was usually amazing but the lack of American norms of hand washing and covering sneezes and coughs made me worry a little. I mostly cook at home anyway. You have to boil the tap water to kill bacteria, then use the water. They like warm water rather than cold or ice water. But I think it probably stems from the fact that they have to heat the water to begin with and they'd have to wait and wait for the hot water to chill in a freezer to get cold water...they can't drink cold water from the faucet. Yes, there are restaurants selling snake etc but not mostly. You can get awesome pasta, salad, or tasty mystery soups. 😅 It was common to have 1 huge delicious meal with coworkers and the boss or a few students and the boss' assistant when you were first hired and you didn't have to pay a dime...really lovely. You pay for your own flights, however. Day-to-day payments are often entirely electronic, as in barcodes via a phone app wallet. So, have a power bank with you. Some kids were good but a higher % were unruly or hard-of-learning vs what I ever witnessed in the USA (small or medium city, suburban USA). A class of 20-30 will have 5+ bad apples not 2+. I'm just 1 person so it could just be coincidental but other teachers have told me their classes were disobedient as well. There are lots of good kids but it's a bit more casual, more loud, and more sassy than expected and definitely not the studious, quiet, brilliant stereotype overall. Tiny kids didnt have the sass and were more attentive but bosses often want hyper clown teachers, say the opposite of what they said during the interview as far as duties or teaching style, and sometimes only hire certain colors, so beware. A boss might shout at you about some fairly mundane thing you weren't told wasn't allowed, such as checking on the status of your residency permit approval or denial at the gov office to make sure you don't overstay your visa when it has 2 days remaining or a kid not copying from the board correctly and you not noticing and correcting it because you were busy with an extremely slow/special needs student. The gov office manager or interviewer's boss or interviewer themselves might say some weird offensive racial comment regarding your color or maybe the color of your friends or a grandparent so it can offend you even if they assume it wouldn't. If I were tall or looked like Matt Damon, I'd feel safer against women elbowing me and more able to be valued as a worker and be paid fairly, and more apt to visit again. But it was still an experience I cherish because people were mostly friendly and curious. Sometimes we have to enjoy life regardless of stupid or immoral people, right? Don't leave before getting your final direct deposit! Some will try to keep your money. Just go to the labor regulations office for your city and they'll talk to the school right that moment. The school should very quickly cough up the overdue money. I think I was paid the next day. Let's support eachother and not accept jobs from schools that emphasize or stereotype color - anywhere in the world. Intelligent and qualified is intelligent and qualified. Setup was quick and simple, and everything felt solid right out of the box. The build quality is better than I expected for the price, with no loose parts or cheap-feeling components. The ride itself is smooth and stable, and it’s easy to control even if you’re not very experienced with scooters. It handles sidewalks and slightly uneven pavement well, and I feel comfortable riding it at a steady pace. It’s not ultra-light, but it’s still manageable to carry when needed and easy to store without taking up much space. Overall, it’s a reliable, well-made scooter that works exactly as advertised. Very smooth ride, (since theirs no dual suspension, just watch out for big bumps/curbs I almost went flying off on one lol) App is well put together, Cruise control automatically takes over after riding at a constant speed for more than 5 secs(can turn this off in app), lights are pretty bright, fingerprint lock very handy(was suspicious at first) Park mode 3-4 mph, eco 5-6 sport 9 mph and Race is 19 mph, very good on mileage little ring bell can be handy, the brake is very well put together it's only available on one hand though so be careful going really fast then brake checking, you either go flying off or it takes a soft brake. For $322 all together pretty good ( My fender was broken during shipping package as well) Charging is pretty good too- I had like 2 charges left and it took about 3-4 going all the way back up to 5 charges. Foldable and a little heavy to carry upstairs but has really great torque. ... show more
