I'm obsessed with Shapewear...and this is probably the absolute best that I've found! I recently dropped about 25lbs. ShaperX has some great stuff, for sure. I got this thing out of the mail and took it home and inspected it all over. Then I proceeded to put it on. I pulled it up and starting hooking little hooks as I tucked in my tummy rolls. It was feeling MIGHTY firm, I'll tell you! So I get it all latched and then remembered that I needed to zip it as well. Buuuut...what? Where did that danged zipper go? I searched...and no zipper! Then I spotted it...on the inside! How in the hayul was I supposed to zip it from the inside when I was already snatched up so tight that I looked like one of those vacuum bag things that have all of the air sucked right out of them? Then....it dawned on me! It was INSIDE OUT!!!! (SMDH) Good grief...now I have to let the air out! I unhook it all over again...take it off and turn it right side out. By now my hands feel like I've been thumb-wrestling for 18 hours straight! I squeeze my behind back into it, (which as turns out is the EASY part!) then I run my hands under some cold water and attack those hooks with as much brute force as I could muster. Thank GOD this thing stretches. I finally get it all in place. Every hook hooked, the zipper zipped. I adjust the shoulder straps a little bit and walk out of the bathroom. My husband was on the phone talking and I didn't expect him to notice. Boy was I wrong! I hear, (loudly) "HOLLLLLLLY MOLEY...WOW! Your mother just strutted out in a mega-sexy lingerie thing...Oh my God!" (I think he was holding his breath and couldn't talk for several seconds.) Yep....I think it's going to do the trick! I wore it around the house for an hour just to see if he would faint. It's going to be FABULOUS on our 20 day cruise vacation next week! Putting it on the first time is a little bit of an undertaking, let me warn you. Also, good luck if you actually do need to use the restroom - it's not difficult to open, but there's no closing it again unless you've got gumby arms. I had to just take the whole thing off and put it back on. (Luckily I was still at home.) Now, it's not comfortable. It's not torture, but it's not comfortable. I am very aware that I'm wearing it, and definitely have to sit and bend in certain ways. After 7 hours - I ended up out and doing things longer than suspected - all I want is to get home and take this off. The biggest discomfort point for me is right at the top of the closure. I might see about padding it somehow. That being said, it does do what it's supposed to do! I'll feel much better about wearing a dress...but I'm also glad I won't be wearing it for 7 hours ever again. For reference, I'm 5'2", 260lbs, and bought the 3x. ... show more

When I first tried this on, I didn't like how it pushed my already large breasts up. Then I realized I could remove the straps. That did the trick! It really slims my waist for a form fitting dress I am wearing. Super comfortable. Not sure what other reviews meant when they said the lower part is uncomfortable. Maybe the wrong size? This thing is comfortable and unclips at the bottom for you to use the restroom. Perfect for what I needed! ... show more

I bought a cute thin sweater romper that I needed to smooth out rolls, flatten tummy, and distribute/move around my massive stomach. Control-top items just roll down for me, but this thing worked. I was pleasantly surprised by it’s ability to hold everything in AND be very comfortable! I couldn’t figure out which size to order because I was right in between sizes. If the bigger size fit, it wouldn’t really be compressing, but what if the smaller size didn’t fit? I took a gamble and ordered the smaller size. But I also grabbed a pair of control top pantyhose as a backup. I received item and thought, “drats! I should have gone with the bigger size.” I said this to myself throughout each step: pulling over my butt, hooking each eyelet, hooking the top latch, zipping it up, pulling the straps over my arms. But guess what? It fit!!! I could move, bend over, sit, eat, dance, and drive my car 45 minutes each way. Doing it all was very comfortable. I had it on for 6 hours, and didn’t take it off. I didn’t have to use the restroom, so I’m not able to talk about the experience of having to remove and put back on. I’m very happy with my purchase. I love this faja!!! I've bought and sent back probably 10 different ones before finding this one. I had a tummy tuck, breast lift and lipo so I needed compression and support. I'm 5'4" 197lbs with wide hips. Size 14/16 pants. Sizing runs small. I bought a 2XL based on measurements but I couldn't breath it was so tight. Keep it and ordered a 3XL. That one fits excellent. After wearing it for 2 weeks I'm now wearing the 2XL and will probably be able to wear an XL in the next 2 weeks. Highly highly recommend!!! ... show more

This one gives enough compression and is comfortable enough to tolerate wearing all day. The legs are loose on me and snap crotch part wide but I am a petite person. Only 5ft tall. Try it!! I am embarrassed to think of how many of these I have bought through the years. Before now they were all terrible and for the lack of a better word, barbaric. The others, I have had to get my poor husband to help me get into them. I want it tight enough to make me feel more confident, comfortable and more slimlined. This one did all that! I didn't need any help putting it on. I was even able to pee when I needed to. The trick is the hooks! If it were just a zipper, it would suck, but you have the individual hooks to work your way up, and as you go, you just zip it up. I love this so much!
