The scooter itself feels very solid. Acceleration is smooth, so it was easy to get used to. The brakes respond quickly, which gives me confidence when stopping at intersections.The solid tires do make it a bit bumpy on rough pavement, but the upside is that I don’t have to worry about flats or pumping air. Bought this for my son to use at college. It has greatly reduced his time to get across campus. It has good speed at full power, takes mild hills well, and the larger wheels makes it more stable. It is a bit heavy, so it's not one you can easily carry into class so he locks it on the bike rack. He loves it and says it's the best thing we've ever bought him. It’s VERY FUN to ride. I normally have to walk to work, but the scooter will be a lot better. I’ve had it for 2 days and there’s NOTHING wrong with it so far. I don’t know how but I was able to reach 35 mph on it today which I love. I’m just confused because I think the product said its max was 22 mph. I don’t care that much.
